Resurfaced footage shows legendary comedian Katt Williams responding to a heckler with unapologetic patriotism for nearly four minutes. The incident, which reportedly occurred during a 2011 show in Phoenix, recently went viral on X, demonstrating a patriotic, America-first sentiment that has seen a resurgence under President Donald Trump.
During Williams’ set, an audience member interrupted to inform the comedian that Arizona was “Mexican land.” This comment propelled Williams into a scathing rant that sent the crowd into a roaring cheer. “You think I’m dissing Mexico and I’m defending America,” Williams said, pacing the stage. He asked the heckler, “Are you Mexican? Do you know where Mexico is?”
The man in the audience then claimed Arizona actually belonged to Mexico. Williams clapped back, “No this ain’t Mexico, it used to be Mexico!” He shouted, “And now it’s Phoenix!” Williams proceeded to bounce around the stage, taunting the man who stood up from his seat, visibly displeased with the commentary from Katt.
Stomping his foot and glaring at the heckler, Williams started a ferocious “USA” chant, getting the crowd to join in. The two proceeded to exchange profane insults, before Katt said, “I bet you don’t leave here and go to Mexico.” Pacing around the stage, gloating as the crowd cheered him on, Williams asked, “Do you know where you’re at?” before starting another “USA” chant.
Williams later added, “M******** think they can live in this country and still be allegiance to another f****** country.” He added, “If you love another country more than you love America … then you get to steppin…” As the crowd roared, Williams exclaimed, “So if you love Mexico b***, get the f*** over there.” Not letting the matter go, Williams proceeded to sing the Star Spangled Banner in the man’s face.
Last year, The American Tribune reported on more recent comments from Katt Williams, in which he predicted that 2024 would be a year in which Hollywood would be exposed for shocking activities. According to Williams it is a choice between God and evil. “Race is not where the line is drawn. It’s God’s side and the other side, and we don’t care nothing about the other side, period. All of these big-d— deviants is all catching hell in 2024. It’s up for all of ’em,” he told Shannon Sharpe.
“It don’t matter if you Diddy or whoever you is … all lies will be exposed. That’s all, and anyone who takes that the wrong way, know why they take it the wrong way … the truth is the light,” the comedian continued. “Because, in 30 years, I’ve done nothing but collect information, knowledge, and your secrets. So, if you and a man was in a corner doing something you wasn’t supposed to be doing … somebody come to tell me,” he continued.

He added, “I gather that. I value that. I’ll pay for that. Come tell me. I know so many things I shouldn’t know, and they all know it … You don’t make me the villain, not the guy that raises Black children and ain’t never done a hard drug in his life, and don’t have no stories of doing nobody dirty, and they’ll just go out and lie, ‘The industry doesn’t mess with Katt because he didn’t show up for the studio.’ No studios have ever said that.”
