Speaking after Trump was declared victorious over Vice President Kamala Harris on Wednesday, November 5, the woke media did exactly what you would expect and had a host of meltdowns. Some of the funnier of those included MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” looking like it was at a funeral and CNN contributor David Axelrod yelling about the various “isms” that contributed to Kamala’s loss.
Particularly, Axelrod declared that election analysts must remain “clear-eyed” as to the large degree of American “racism” and “sexism” that he sees as being at least in part to blame for the electoral loss that Vice President and 2024 Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris suffered.
Making that wild claim, Axelrod first led into his freak-out by declaring that he needed to be absolutely “honest” and “blunt” about what happened on election night, saying, “You know, I would love to hear from Van on this, but let‘s be honest on this, okay, let’s be absolutely blunt about it.”
Continuing, he had his meltdown and ranted about “racism” and “sexism” in America that led to Kamala’s defeat, alleging that appeals to such such bias were a tactic of the Trump campaign. He said, “There were appeals to racism in this campaign, and there is racial bias in this country and there is sexism in this country, and anybody who thinks that that did not in any way impact on the outcome of this race is wrong.”
Axelrod still wasn’t done. He then hedged his rant about how flawed America is, declaring, “I am not saying that was the main reason that Kamala Harris lost and Donald Trump won. I think they ran, honestly, strategically, his campaign, I said many times, they ran a very smart campaign.”
He added that being “clear-eyed” about the various isms is necessary, saying, “It was ultimately a rational, well-conceived and well-executed campaign for an often irrational candidate, and they overcame him to sell his message or the message that they thought he should be selling to the country. But let‘s not confuse what this was and wasn‘t. Let‘s be very clear-eyed about it.”
Axelrod’s co-panelist Van Jones freaked out as well and echoed the sort of message Axelrod was pushing, declaring that “There is a license that [Trump] had to just be a fool, just to be an obnoxious ass to everyone,” whereas candidates without “that phenotype,” meaning non-white candidates, such behavior is impossible. Watch the meltdown here:
In having his meltdown alongside Axelrod, Van Jones fulfilled a prediction made by Clifton Duncan, a conservative X (formerly Twitter) commentator, who wrote, “No matter the outcome of the election, I think we can all agree on one thing: Van Jones will be on CNN crying like a bitch.”
Also chiming in, the Middle Earth Mixer X account, always funny, joked, “Van Jones is crying on CNN. So a good sign for us.” Similarly, another conservative X personality, Jason Whitlock, wrote, “Van Jones might be the worst person on TV. He’s half Joy Reid and half Don Lemon. Terrible combination.”
