In a heartbreaking post to social media, DJ Daniel, who made headlines for meeting with President Trump several months ago, has called on country music stars like Jason Aldean and Darius Rucker to promote a benefit concert for sick children.

For context, as weย previously reported, DJ Daniel was made an honorary Secret Service agent and is the boy for whom Democrats didย not clap during President Trump’s 2025 Address to Congress. He has been sworn in as an honorary officer at over a thousand law enforcement agencies and police departments across America.

In any case, Daniel’s initial plea, along with the responses from Aldean and Rucker, was posted by DC Draino on June 5, 2025. Daniel said, “Hey, does anybody know Jason Aldean? Because we’re trying to do a country show down here to raise money for kids for cancer.”

Reacting, two of the most prominent stars in country music recorded their video. First, one man said, “Hey. DJ, what’s up? It’s Darius Rucker, guess what? I heard you. I know Jason Aldean.” Adding his statement, Aldean said, “Hey, what’s up, DJ? Jason Aldean here, I got your message, and I want to get you out to a show. Let’s talk more about doing a show or doing something to help the kids you were talking about, and we’ll be in touch.”

In the comment under the clip, the prominent conservative wrote, “DJ Daniel, who has terminal brain cancer, was recently diagnosed with 3 more tumors. He made a public request to 1 of his favorite country stars Jason Aldean if he could do a show to raise $$ for cancer research. Well @Jason_Aldean just said heโ€™s down to help ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸผThis is America.”

In the comments under his post, users reacted with their own well wishes. One such comment wrote, “Aw, some good news today amid this Elon/Trump storm. Best wishes for DJ Daniel, and a bow to Jason Aldean.” Building on this point, another comment read, “This is incredible….. Way to go@Jason_Aldean. Best wishes and many prayers ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™ for DJ Daniel and his family. ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’ช”

Continuing the trend, one conservative noted, “Everyone can make an impact in life. This is certainly true about DJ Daniel. God bless this hero who is only 13.” Offering a prayer for DJ one reply said, “Lordโ€ฆ we pray for your miracles to surround, hold, and lift this angel of yours. We pray for healing, Understanding, and extension of his beautiful life. We love you DJ โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ”

Before embarking on his current charitable endeavor, DJ made headlines for becoming an honorary Border Patrol agent. Making the announcement, 27th Border Patrol Chief Michael W. Banks took to X (formerly Twitter) to say that DJ had been made an honorary agent, saying, “Welcome our new honorary Border Patrol Agent Devarjaye โ€œDJโ€ Daniel. DJ is an unstoppable force and a true inspiration. We know he will exemplify our motto of ‘Honor First’.”

Providing another reaction, “Rapid Response 47” X account, an official White House account, described the background of DJ’s award of honorary membership in the Secret Service. It said, “13-year-old D.J. Daniel was diagnosed with brain cancer and given five months to live โ€” and that was six years ago. Since then, D.J. and his dad have been on a quest to make his dream come true โ€” and tonight, President Trump made him an honorary member of the Secret Service.”
