WATCH: Byron Donalds Stands Down CNN and Slams Biden Live on Air

Rep Byron Donalds recently slammed President Joe Biden’s controversial remarks toward Trump supporters during an interview on CNN.  The Florida Republican explained to the left-leaning news network that the rhetoric that has been weaponized against former President Donald Trump and his base is “hateful” and needs to stop.

President Biden recently sparked controversy after he claimed, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”  Addressing this, Donalds said, “My response is that, is that the first statement from Joe Biden, is the one that he truly believes. He does not think that people who disagree with him or his party who support President Trump are, you know, are Americans. He thinks that they’re garbage.”

Donald also called out a controversial incident from the past election cycle in which Biden appeared on “The Breakfast Club” where he outright stated that voters “ain’t black” if they had a difficult time choosing between him and former President Trump.  “That’s a fact and the reason what I go back to is four years ago, around this same time, it was Joe Biden that went on the Breakfast Club, and he famously said that if you couldn’t vote for him, then you weren’t black,” the representative continued.

Donalds shared a clip from the interview on X, writing, “Four years ago, Biden told Black Americans, “you ain’t Black” if you don’t vote for him. Last night, he called half of the American people “garbage.” This is consistent with who he is & consistent with what the Democratic Party has become. Their hateful rhetoric needs to stop.”

Other users on social media weighed in on Donalds’ comments on CNN.  “Way more than HALF. If you think Joe Biden called half the country garbage, you are mistaken. In reality, the place most of us live, Joe’s statement was directed to more than 2/3rds probably closer to 80% of the American Citizens. See what he and Kamala don’t understand is that Trump, JD, Bobby, Tulsi and Elon represent American Patriots from all sides of the political spectrum, Democrats, Republican, Conservatives, Independents, MAGA, MAHA – We The People- American Patriots,” one user wrote.

Other users suggested that, despite his outrageous comment, Biden’s relevance has diminished since he dropped out of the race earlier in the summer. “Joe obviously should not have said what he did, but since the coup he has very little relevance. We need to focus on getting every MAGA patriot to vote for Donald J Trump …” one person said.

“Yes shut it down! This pushing division and hatred against one another is sickening. I’m allowed a different opinion than my neighbor and it doesn’t have to be hate spew because of it. We are all different people with different ideas and should be able to have conversations with one another instead of hate spewed at someone for not agreeing with you or thinking like you. They aren’t racist and nazi in a cult or any other word. It’s ridiculous that people do that,” another person wrote.
