WATCH: Brave Reporter Calls Out Lying Dem Leader to His Face During Epic Press Conference Moment

Sent into a sputtering rage by a reporter’s question, far-left Congressman Jimmy Gomez (D-CA) went on an unhinged rant in which he compared the recent anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) riots to the chaos of January 6th, 2021.

For context, Jimmy Gomez was born to immigrant parents and began his political career as a union organizer. He has far-left politics, and in addition to advocating for open borders policies and Medicare for All, he sits on the House Ways and Means Committee, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and the infamous Progressive Caucus, alongside AOC.

Starting with the insightful question, the reporter provided vital background information. He said, “Now you mentioned that you want to have the National Guard withdrawn. You don’t have an actual guard even involved in this. You also mentioned the insurrection, so to speak, on January 6.”

Pointing out the apparent hypocrisy, he noted, “That was back when the National Guard was pulled back and was waiting for a long period of time.  And then there’s a big investigation that was, that was put into that. And people said, Where’s the National Guard having results. These are rioters who came into the Capitol. Where is the National Guard?”

Explaining the apparent double standard, the journalist said, “Then all of a sudden, here we have the National Guard that was put in there because there was, let’s face it, a lot of rioters and a lot of violence that was going on there that you’re calling peaceful protesters. A lot of people didn’t see that on the TV screens.”

Bringing his pointed series of questions to a close, he asked, “So either you don’t have the National Guard that didn’t come in on time on January 6, or you do have the National Guard where there was violence. We did see that on our TV screens. What do you want?”

Obviously angered by the insightful question, the California Democrat went on a massive rant, saying, “So wait a second. So on January 6, I was here. There’s 50,000 people outside. They were scaling the walls, scaling the walls. They were bashing in, breaking in with members of Congress, members of Congress, trapped in the gallery, including myself, including a lot of the people here, like that was a dire situation where the police were run over.”

Still not done, he went on to provide a theatrical description of the recent events. Gomex claimed, “People were beaten with what happened over so, so and then, and then the and the difference is Speaker Pelosi asked for help. Very different situation. And here’s the thing, Donald Trump is the one that was actually inciting that.”

    Watch the clip here:

Concluding his biased remarks, Gomez whined, “And here’s what’s also going on. How many police officers have died in LA? Zero. How many people died on January 6, 2005? How many people were their heads were beaten in here? Uh, at least one or two, or maybe more, right? There was like. So when people say that it’s a like, it’s Democrats are being, not consistent. It’s completely wrong.”
