Minnesota State Rep. Harry Miska accused Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison of serious misconduct, citing newly released audio from the Feeding Our Future fraud scandal. Miska claimed Ellison was asked to protect businesses under investigation, urged participants to “fight these people,” and later accepted campaign contributions from those involved.
He called for legislation requiring disclosure of closed investigations to increase transparency and reveal who influences the AG’s office. The remarks tie into the broader $250 million fraud scandal, which President Trump has blamed on Gov. Tim Walz, Rep. Ilhan Omar, and Somali migrant communities, accusing them of ripping off the state.
Starting off his comments, MN State Rep Harry Miska began confidently. “Recently released audio recordings reveal conversations that happened between the Attorney General and individuals who were later implicated and in some cases convicted in the feeding our future scandal. In those recordings, … Attorney General was asked in those recordings to use his authority to protect businesses under investigation for wrongdoing, and rather than distance himself, remain neutral, to allow the legal process to unfold,” he said.
Continuing his allegation, he noted, “He responded in those recordings, …the attorney general, in those recordings, even urged the individuals, let’s go fight these people. He was offered campaign contributions during that meeting, contributions that he later accepted.”
Making the course of action clear, the courageous rep added, “The release of those audio recordings raises questions about what’s going on in the Attorney General’s office that go directly to the need to pass the legislation that we had previously debated.”
Building out his argument, he said, “Although he has insisted that nothing came of the meeting, his office disclosure of closed investigations. A11 will help ensure that what happens behind closed doors and the Attorney General’s Office sees the light of day, we can protect people’s privacy while shining a light on what the Attorney General’s Office is doing.”
Concluding his comments, Miska declared, “Who is influencing that office, whether it’s those under criminal investigation, nonprofits, corporations, or billionaires with political agendas, because Minnesotans have a right to know when their attorney general’s office is working with them. Minnesotans have a right to know whether the Attorney General is telling the truth that nothing came of that meeting.”

As we reported at the American Tribune, Trump has blasted Minnesota Democrats for their complicity in the massive scandal. “Waltz is a grossly incompetent man. There’s something wrong with him. Okay, there’s something wrong with him,” the president pointed out.
“And when you look at what he’s done with Somalia, with Somalia, which is barely a country, you know, they have no they have no anything. They just run around killing each other. There’s no structure. And when I see somebody like Ilhan Omar, who I don’t know at all, but I always watch her. For years, I’ve watched her complain about our Constitution, how she’s being treated badly our Constitution. The United States of America is a bad place. Hates everybody, hates Jewish people, hates everybody. And I think she’s an incompetent person. She’s a real terrible person,” he continued to explain.
Making his thoughts on these ungrateful immigrants, he noted, “I hear they ripped off Somalians, ripped off that state for billions of dollars, billions every year, billions of dollars. And they contribute nothing. The welfare is like 88% they contribute nothing.”
