WATCH: Blue State Fraudster Alleges Far-Left Governor, AG Knew about Fraud But Didn’t Stop It

A Minnesota woman who was convicted in one of the state’s largest fraud schemes recently did an interview from jail where she alleges that Democratic Gov. Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison were both aware of the widespread fraud long before federal prosecutors got involved in cracking down on the situation.

The fraudster, Aimee Bock, who formerly ledthe nonprofit organization Feeding Our Future, sat down for a conversation with Fox News from the Sherburne County Jail, where she claimed that Minnesota state officials kept approving and paying claims even after concerns were raised about the potential for fraud.

During the interview, Bock said that the state-approved program both sponsored and was also responsible for looking into claims; however, officials neglected their duty to investigate or stop suspicious companies after she flagged them. “I honestly believe Keith Ellison and Gov. Walz need to be held accountable. There needs to be an investigation done. If they weren’t aware, that’s concerning,” she said.

“I have to believe that the governor’s office and Keith Ellison’s office were aware of this. They’ve said they were involved in helping the FBI. They’ve said they were made aware, but apparently I’m scary, so they couldn’t do anything,” Bock continued, pointing the finger firmly at the state’s Democratic establishment.

Attorney General Keith Ellison’s office issued a response to Bock, calling into question her credibility due to her being sentenced to prison. “Federal and state investigators meticulously examined the crimes Bock and her accomplices committed,” an Ellison spokesperson said, according to Fox News. “Bock alone is responsible for her own actions, which was proven in court beyond a shadow of a doubt, and her claim about Attorney General Ellison is a lie without a shred of evidence behind it.”

The report also noted that federal prosecutors have stated the scheme involved over $250 million in stolen taxpayer dollars that were originally intended to help feed kids during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a number of fake restaurants set up to falsely claim reimbursements. Fox News has reached out to Gov. Tim Walz’s office for a comment about the allegations made by Bock, but as of this writing, the outlet has not received a response.

On January 7, 2026, the House Oversight Committee stated that the Justice Department has charged 98 defendants in fraud-related cases in Minnesota. Out of that total, 85 were of Somali descent. A total of 64 have already been convicted on charges. Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the chairman for the committee, has put out 1,750 subpoenas, executed well over 130 search warrants, and has conducted more than a thousand witness interviews as part of a probe into the activity.

Comer also stated that federal prosecutors have estimated that at least $9 billion has been stolen in the state through various fraud schemes. “The breadth and depth of this fraud is breathtaking. And I fear it is just the tip of the iceberg. Gov. Tim Walz, Attorney General Keith Ellison, and Minnesota’s Democratic leadership have either been asleep at the wheel or complicit in these crimes,” he said. “They failed Minnesotans and all Americans, handing millions of taxpayers’ money to fraudsters.”
