WATCH: Purple Haired Democrat Congresswoman Totally Blows a Gasket after Pam Bondi Has Epic Mic Drop Moment

In a dramatic exchange, Attorney General Pam Bondi left far-left Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) sputtering after she easily demolished her feeble argument. The Democrat was enraged by Bondi’s sensible decision to restructure the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF) to increase government efficiency by linking it more closely to the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA).

For context, Rep. Rosa DeLauro is a long-serving Democratic Congresswoman from Connecticut, known for her woke activism since 1991 and her obnoxious purple hair. She has a leading role on the House Appropriations Committee and has played a critical role in opposing President Trump’s cabinet and America First agenda.

In any case, Rep. DeLauro began her remarks with a baseless attack on Trump’s AG and her plan to refocus the ATF. In her long-winded rant, she said, “Your budget request for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, ATF, proposes a cut of 26% below the current level. How can you justify such massive [cuts]?”

Letting the woke Democrat have it, Bondi replied, “I’m a career prosecutor, and I believe in keeping America safe, making America safe first, what we’re doing is ATF is going to be brought over with the DEA.  What I will tell you will not be happening as ATF agents will not be knocking on the doors of legal gun owners in the middle of the night, asking them about their guns.”

Interjecting with a theatrical response, DeLauro claimed that Bondi failed to answer her question, and said, “So my view, it’s fair to say that the Trump administration proposal short changes federal efforts to stop illegal gun trafficking and federal efforts to stop the flow of dangerous illegal drugs like fentanyl.”

Annoyed, AG Pam Bondi replied, “As I was attempting to answer your question very calmly, unlike you…” However, she was interrupted by the purple-haired Democrat, who ranted, “Excuse me, Attorney General, answer yes or no. Tell me about the numbers. I don’t want to hear all of your filibuster about this.”

Somehow keeping her composure, Bondi answered before being rudely interrupted. She stated, “We are reorganizing ATF. Agents want to be out on the street. I’m going to answer it for you…” However, the enraged Democrat interrupted yet again.

Speaking over Bondi, the furious Democrat whined, “Mr. Chairman, you give me a certain amount of time, and I have a high respect for you, but I don’t have to listen, nor do my colleagues have to listen to a filibuster when it’s a simple question, but I have an answer to your question. …the proposal will weaken our ability to stop gun trafficking, and it will greatly reduce ATF support for state and local law enforcement that helps them prevent and solve violent crimes. It’s a bad proposal.”

Firing back with an epic response, Bondi retorted, “You want to hear my answer and three seconds, you mentioned regulatory functions. That’s why we will not be having ATF agents go to the doors of gun owners in the middle of the night, asking them about their guns, period. They will be out on the streets with the DEA.”

Speaking over the woke Democrat, she continued, “We are not firing agents. We work. How many have taken attrition? I tell you that they all want to be on the streets, they want to be doing their jobs, they want to do. “
