WATCH: Beloved Fox News Star Issues Heartwarming Health Update after Cancer Battle

Beloved “Gutfeld!” co-host Kat Timpf issued an update about her health battle with fans, sharing with them that she has tried to move towards recovery after the surprising cancer battle that she found out she would have to fight as she prepared to give birth to her son, something made all the worse by the recent death of her father.

So, speaking about that in a video she posted online, along with how she is getting over the death of her cat, who also recently died, the Fox News Channel personality explained that it has been a really long year and that she’s still getting over the combined effect of it all.

Beginning the video, the beloved FNC personality described the terrible cancer ordeal she had when giving birth, saying, “Okay, so everyone knows I had a really rough year last year, diagnosed with breast cancer. 15 hours later, went into labor, gave birth to my son, had a double mastectomy.”

Continuing, she noted how terribly sad and upsetting it was that her father unexpectedly passed away about a year later, saying, “My dad helped me through the whole thing, and then two months after my son’s first birthday, my dad just dropped dead. So it’s been really hard. I’ve been going through a lot.”

Concluding the clip, she announced that she has adopted a one-eyed cat to help her get over it all, saying, “However, however, I I even if you’ve gone through a lot of loss, as I have, as long as you haven’t lost your free will, you can adopt a one-eyed cat, name him Juan, because he has one eye, and put him in a hoodie. Look at that. Never kill yourself.”

Posting about her father’s passing on June 21, Father’s Day, she said, “Two Father’s Days ago, we traveled to Charlevoix, Michigan to celebrate not only the father that my dad was, but also the one that my husband was about to be — as it was also the weekend we first told my dad I was pregnant with his first grandchild.”

Describing her health battle as well, and connecting it to this terribly sad present time in her life given her father’s passing and all the reas, she said, “If someone then had told me then that, the following year, I would begin a less-than-14-month stretch of horror in which I’d lose my breasts, my cat, and my father — let alone that my dad would die unexpectedly in the exact town where we were now celebrating, I likely would have said the exact same thing so many people say to me now: that I couldn’t imagine.”

Concluding the post, the beloved and still-grieving television personality said, “But, as anyone who has been hit with tragedy knows, your previous ability to imagine something actually has no bearing on whether or not it does. Miss you every day, Dad. Today and every day, the world is a worse place without you in it.”
