In an awesome segment of Fox News Channel’s “The Sunday Briefing” on Sunday, May 31, beloved Fox News Channel Senior White House Correspondent Peter Doocy made a huge announcement about his personal life, revealing that his wife is pregnant and that they are gleefully expecting baby number three.
As background, Mr. Doocy, who became famous for his Biden Administration era clashes with both Karine Jean-Pierre and Jen Psaki in the White House press briefing, is 38 years old. His wife, former Fox Business reporter Hillary Vaughn, is 36 years old. The two already have two children together. Their daughter, Bridget, was born in February 2023. Their son, George, was born in April 2025.
Happily making the family announcement about the soon-to-be new member of the Doocy family during his appearance on the Sunday show, the beloved FNC personality said, “And finally, I have some family news. This segment we were just doing, it’s aimed at America’s youngest citizens, I’ve got two at my house, you can see George there on the left and Bridget on the right. Well, here is a Fox News alert: another one is on the way. My wife, Hillary, is pregnant.”
Continuing, Doocy gave one more update, noting that the due date for his third child is his father’s birthday, which is in November. He said, “She is due on my dad’s birthday, so Doocy, party of five, coming soon and this little bundle of joy will be here in time for midterm coverage on ‘The Sunday Briefing.’”
The Sunday Briefing’s X account made sure to post the news and hype it up online, saying, “Exciting news from the Doocy family! Peter Doocy announced that he and his wife, Hillary, are expecting baby No. 3. George and Bridget are getting a new sibling, and the family is soon becoming a party of five! ❤️👶”
Fox News Channel’s general account posted about the great news on X (formerly Twitter) as well, saying, “A new Doocy is on the way. @pdoocy announced that he and his wife @hillary__vaughn are expecting their third child, adding another member to their growing family. Here’s the twist: the baby is due on @SteveDoocy birthday.”
