President-elect attended the classic Army-Navy football game on Saturday, December 14, and was beloved by the crowd as he did so. This was the fifth time that Trump has attended the iconic rivalry game, and this time Trump was greeted by a roar of “USA! USA!” chants when he entered the stadium.

For this game, the president-elect was joined by not only his Vice President-elect, JD Vance, but also a bevy of other top GOP figures and his cabinet picks. For example, his Director of National Intelligence pick, Tulsi Gabbard, was there, as was his Secretary of Defense nominee, Pete Hegseth. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) joined too, as did Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. And, of course, Daniel Penny joined them.

In one great moment at the game, President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Vance were seen taking their seats as the event got going. The crowd, consisting as does mainly of Army and Navy veterans and their families, could be heard loudly cheering for the two recently elected leaders, chanting, โ€œUSA!”

Conservative X (formerly Twitter) personality Nick Sortor, known for being fast to get new news like this out to his followers, posted a clip of the cheering and captioned it by saying, “๐Ÿšจ #BREAKING: President Trump has just joined Daniel Penny and JD Vance at the Army Navy game The crowd spotted him and started chanting โ€œUSA! USA!โ€ ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ”

Similarly, Eric Daughtery, a prominent conservative voice from Florida, shared the clip of the “USA” chant and noted that the crowd had broken out in the chant when Trump joined Vance and Mr. Penny. He said, “๐Ÿšจ #BREAKING: Donald J. Trump is in the house at the Army-Navy game with Daniel Penny and JD Vance. ‘USA’ break out in the crowd.”

Commenting on Daughtery’s post, one commenter joked that Speaker Johnson needs to keep a lower profile, as it’s others that crowds want to see. That commenter said, “Good grief, someone sit Johnson down and keep him out of the photo ops….Just what everyone wants to see Trump, JD powerhouse with nerdy Johnson poking his head in ๐Ÿ™„” However that same commenter also said, a bit more positively, “I just love seeing him surrounded by true patriots this time. Every time I see a clip of him out & about (Vance too) I can’t help but get excited, and teary sometimes.” Watch the awesome moment here:

Newsmax host David Harris Jr. chimed in too, posting the clip and noting the emotions conjured up by the visit, saying, “Crowd chants USA USA USA at President-elect Trump and VP-elect JD Vance at the Army/Navy game before Trump salutes the soldiers during National Anthem. I missed this feeling of our country being strong again ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ”

Commenters on his post agreed, leaving messages like, “Itโ€™s a glorious feeling David! Sure beats players kneeling at our national anthem doesnโ€™t it?!?,” “This makes me even more proud of our country. We are on the path to victory,” and “Strong and not apologetic like a bunch of losers. America thrives when itโ€™s winning. Obama ushered in the era of losing and itโ€™s time for that to end.”
