In a very unintentionally funny livestream video posted to Instagram on Wednesday, November 6, after former President and now-president-elect Donald Trump won the presidential election, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) went berserk about the supposed “sexism and racism” in America that she claimed led to Kamala’s defeat.
Beginning the Instagram Live video, AOC defended the abysmally bad campaign that Kamala ran in this election, claiming that Kamala had “no expectation” that she would be the Democratic presidential candidate and that no other American politician has had to improvise in such a manner.
She sad, beginning that attempt to hand wave away Kamala’s defeat, “I think it’s important to also state here that Kamala Harris was given an assignment that no other person in American history was given: To construct a presidential campaign in 90 to 100 days with absolutely no expectation … to that assignment.”
Continuing on that same point, AOC added that the stakes were high, as Kamala had to defeat the “fascist threat” that Trump is. She said that Kamala’s assignment was “to deliver the country from an enormous fascist threat that had already been campaigning and priming the pump for essentially eight years.”
Switching tracks, Rep. AOC then went on to rant in the live video about how it is supposedly “sexism” and “racism” in America that were to blame, along with the “very real” threat of “misogyny” for the devastating electoral defeat that Kamala suffered on the national stage on November 5.
She said, making that claim about the isms supposedly responsible for Kamala’s defeat, “Misogyny is very very real in this country. As another widely known woman of color in office, you know, I knew that sexism and racism were real, but it was not until I got subjected to a national stage that I actually was shocked at how bad it is.”
Still not done, AOC kept ranting and said that there is a “fire hose” of such sentiment. She snapped, “You know, you grow up with it, but there is something about being on the receiving line or just nationally exposed to millions of eyeballs at once that you feel that fire hose and you actually understand how deeply ingrained it is.”
Concluding, the woke congresswoman then accused the political left and center of being misogynistic as well, saying, “And it is not partisan… it transcends politics. And that’s a hard pill for a lot of people to swallow. That misogyny can exist in left spaces, in right spaces, in center spaces.”

Fortunately for the entertainment factor but unfortunately for her district, Rep. AOC was re-elected for another term in Congress by her New York City constituency. Posting about it on X (formerly Twitter), she said, “Thank you to the people of the Bronx and Queens for re-electing me to another term in Congress. As a waitress, I never thought serving in Congress would ever be a reality. It will always remain the honor of my life to serve our community.”
