WATCH: AOC Has House Floor “Temper Tantrum,” Gets Hilariously Roasted

Back in February of 2023, the House GOP managed to boot “Squad” member Rep. Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. That caused her fellow “Squad” member, Rep. AOC, to have a wild meltdown and temper tantrum on the floor of the House of Representatives, yelling about the supposed racism behind her ouster.

Freaking out about the resolution, AOC declared, at one point, “This is about targeting women of color in the United States of America.” She also declared “There is nothing consistent with the Republican Party’s continued attack, except for the racism and incitement of violence against women of color in this body.”

And, attacking Rep. MTG, she said, “Don’t tell me this is about consistency, don’t tell me that this is a condemnation of antisemitic remarks when you have a member of the Republican caucus who has talked about Jewish space lasers and also elevated her to some of the highest committee assignments in this body.”

Predictably, the House-floor freakout gave conservatives online a great opportunity to toast AOC, which they did. For example, the Breaking 911 news account said, “MELTDOWN: AOC throws temper tantrum on the House Floor, slamming her notebook on the podium as she finished speaking, over a resolution to remove Rep. Ilhan Omar from the Foreign Affairs committee.”

Similarly, the Townhall.com X account wrote, “AOC just threw a temper tantrum on the House Floor, slamming her notebook on the podium as she finished speaking.” And, on the same note, conservative personality Graham Allen wrote, “AOC just threw a MASSIVE tantrum on the house floor.”

Commenters on Graham Allen’s post had some funny comments about AOC and her House floor meltdown, saying things like, “What a drama queen! Look at how animated she is lol” and “Like I keep saying, if she listened as much as she talks, her brain might have some time to catch up with her looks.”

Another commenter wrote, “AOC is possibly the worst actress I’ve ever seen.” Similarly, another said, “She looks like my 3 year old when she doesn’t get her way.” Still another wrote, “Yeah.. Hard to take her seriously when she’s flailing around like that 🫤 it’s great to be passionate but.. this doesn’t look like passion. She looks like she’s over acting. I don’t think she believes what she’s saying. Kind of creepy.”

One commenter on Breakin911’s post said, “Yup she ready for WWE her character is fully developed.” Another joked, “Americans electing jokers, thank you for that, we are enjoying this circus. 🤣🤣” And another said, “In due time, for the Oscars. Who would’ve thought she has decent talent as an actress.”

Rep. Omar, in any case, was as defiant as AOC when the vote was held, saying, “My leadership and voice will not be diminished if I am not on this committee for one term. My voice will get louder and stronger.” She continued, “So take your vote or not – I am here to stay, and I am here to be a voice against harms around the world and advocate for a better world.”
