WATCH: AOC Gets Totally Roasted for Whipping Out Bizarre New Accent to Pander to Audience

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), an admitted Democratic socialist, took the podium at the March on Washington rally where she delivered remarks that were not only ridiculously over-the-top optimistic about the Democratic Party’s chances of winning back control of Congress during the midterms, but highly embarrassing as she had to fight back slipping into a “black accent” during her speech.

The event was put on by professional race-baiter Rev. Al Sharpton, who happened to bus in a significant number of black people to attend the rally. Ocasio-Cortez has a well-established reputation for changing up her accent depending on the demographics of the crowd she is speaking to. Several times during her speech she caught herself sliding into it and tried to correct course, causing her to stutter.

“But there is a tide rising in this country, brothers and sisters. They can put they can put obstacles in our path, but they cannot turn us back around. And this November, the first of many tides is coming, coming to respond to every right they are trying to take, and it is coming to fulfill the promise that hundreds of thousands of heroes carried to these grounds six decades ago,” Ocasio-Cortez said, inflecting the phrase “tide rising” with a bit of her black accent.

“It is now our turn to summon that collective genius, to look beyond the limits of this one moment, and to see further, to demand more, and to organize toward the future we know is possible, the tide is coming, and this time we intend to win it all,” the New York Democrat said, closing out her address to the crowd. As usual, the comment section on a video clip of the speech was highly entertaining.

“She’s got so many identities I think it qualifies as multiple personality disorder,” one user joked. Conservative commentator Nick Sortor responded to the user’s post by saying, “I can’t even keep up with all her accents.” He then followed that up with, “How much more pandering does she have to do before she’s allowed to drop N-bombs?”

Someone else quipped, “Surprised she didn’t say ‘bro’ every other sentence.” Another user wrote, “It’s her own platform yet she’s not capable of discussing it or even writing it, she must read a speech written by someone else.” One user commented, “So embarrassing! It’s insane to think anyone takes her seriously! Imagine this fake being our commander in Chief!”

“Can’t even read notes correctly. People need to stop mentioning this imbecile as a presidential candidate. Never happening,” someone else wrote. User Rose Marie Royster said, “So d**n insulting…the soft bigotry of performative identity politics!” The post is shining a light on how inauthentic the left seems when trying to act like they care about minorities.

“I bet we could figure out how to put the n-word in her teleprompter and you know d**n well she’d read that s**t. Let’s work on that. Elon?” someone else responded to the post. “These are not serious people America. Please do not vote for them. They are incompetent and destructive,” another user explained in the comments.
