Harley-Davidson has recently been the focus of substantial backlash after the company’s woke corporate agenda was exposed. Conservatives have particularly honed in on the controversial German Harley-Davidson CEO, Jochen Zeitz, who has reportedly propelled the famous motorcycle brand’s left-wing values. As a result, bikers who have been loyal to Harley-Davidson for years are speaking out.
One Harley-Davidson enthusiast recently went viral on social media after he sounded off on the once-beloved American brand. The biker pointed out that it was strange for a company with a strong American heritage to appoint a German CEO. The man asserted that he “in no way, shape, or form” represents the American biker community.
“Well, first of all, let’s talk about the new CEO, Jochen Zeitz, a German, not an American. German-born German-raised German-educated, extreme pro-European lifestyle. Who was a Puma shoe CEO for nearly 20 years, this man has, in no way shape or form represent we, the Americana motorcycle community, in any way shape or form,” the biker said.
The man, sporting his vest, red bandana, and monstrous beard, blasted Harley-Davidson for seemingly abandoning the culture that has kept it afloat for decades. He added, “So Harley completely betrayed us, completely sold us out for somebody to raise their stock prices with no regard at all for their customers or their base of cultural supporters.”
He continued, “Harley has stated multiple things once he wants, he wants to bring Harley into the European way of thinking. He wants to make it a completely green company, a word he uses constantly, and I’ve read all his works and everything he believes. This man wants Harley to be part of the new Green Deal and make Harley Davidson’s all electrified. Okay? His goal is to eventually eliminate the gasoline motor.”
Harley-Davidson’s recent DEI efforts have been heavily scrutinized as well. “This guy is as woke as you can get. Okay, he’s a completely DEI executive. He is He has put Diversity Equity and Inclusion in everything he does at the company. He’s even forced the workforce, okay, into dei reeducation camps if you want to work at Harley,” the biker said.
Continuing to expose the seemingly hostile agenda, the motorcycle enthusiast said, “He literally forced all white men only into white men only diversity training. Can you imagine this guy hates what Harley Davidson customers are? Okay? He hates us. Okay. We are that evil. You know, white conservative monster that the Europeans think we are, because all they do is watch CNN, ABC and NBC.”
The man compared the move by Harley-Davidson to that of Bud Light when it infamously partnered with Dylan Mulvaney last year, bring the beer crashing down. “Yes, Harley Davidson, I think, has maybe ended their reign in the American motorcycle culture. They’ve done themselves worse than Bud Light did when they went with Mulvaney.”
Substantiating his argument, he continued, “Sales have dropped 13.7%. The Milwaukee biker rally this past year dropped by 25% from the season before, once all the world stories broke. Stock has dropped 11%
after the profits have dropped 24% since all this started happening.”
He claimed the anger toward Harley-Davidson resonates across the biker community, clearly seen at Sturgis this year. “I can tell you, at just coming from Sturgis, the Harley Davidson tents and booths were empty. People are angry. Okay, tons of people have pledged to drop Harley. Um. Most people I talk to said they will not buy any new Harley’s or Harley anything, until this CEO is fired. Okay, and I’m one of those. I will not buy anything with Harley Davidson on it until this guy is gone,” he said.
