On Monday, November 11, following a shocking video in which MSNBC’s Joy Reid went on a horrifying rant about “white women” and “black women,” SiriusXM radio show and podcast host Megyn Kelly called her out for her claims about black women supporting progressive causes.
Speaking about the matter during the Monday broadcast of “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Kelly not only condemned Reid’s remarks, but went on to question whether the extremely woke MSNBC host might face serious repercussions, such as losing her job, for her spiteful and racial rhetoric.
During that anti-Reid rant, Kelly called for Reid to be fired and noted that MSNBC is facing serious business trouble, saying, “We’ve got to spend another minute, yes, another minute on Joy Reid. It’s a tick-tock situation until her ass is fired. It’s just, there’s no way MSNBC, which is in a full meltdown now about how bad their losses were, there’s no way they can keep this woman.”
Continuing, Kelly described Reid as being on of the most racist people in the TV commentary industry, saying, “I don’t, like, I realize they’re in the same problem that the Democrat Party is, like, they have a base that they need to keep, but she and her little friend Elie Mystal are truly the most racist people on television.”
Shortly afterward, Kelly questioned where Reid’s bizarre hairdo went, noting that it once looked like Trump’s and now is gone. She said, “First of all, where is your hair? What, what happened to your hair, Joy? It’s gone. Like it’s gone from like, it looked like Trump’s hair. And now it’s gone altogether.”
Continuing with that, Kelly said, “Anywho, this is what happens when you get bitter and bitter and bitter. We’ve seen all these women shaving off their hair online. Have you seen this? This is like part of the resistance effort to telegraph that you hate Trump. These, you know, somewhat okay looking women are shaving off their hair.”
Building on that, Kelly noted that Reid was losing it despite the women she attacked doing pretty much everything possible to get on her good side, questioning why she attacks those who are on her side, politically and emotionally. Making that point, Kelly said, “Second of all, the nerve, like this is what happens, right? […] She looks at the white progressive women as like, what more self-flagellation could white progressive women have done to earn the little pat on the head from the Joy Reid’s of the world?”
Then, further pressing that point, Kelly told people to pay attention to where their efforts end up with people like Reid, saying, “Ladies, pay attention,. It doesn’t get you anywhere. If the conservative women or the more moderate white women let you down, you will be lumped in, your whiteness comes first before you, your progressivism does in this battlefield. You will be diminished. You will be rejected by the Joy Reid’s of the world until what? Until Joy Reid gets her way at the ballot box.”
