In a bizarre move, Hamilton County Democrats introduced eight bills to counter ICE tactics, citing the shooting of two left-wing agitators in Minnesota. These bills would hamper ICE’s ability to enforce the border and keep the nation safe.
Parts of these bills would ban face coverings and impose limits on arrests. Progressive lawmakers referenced alleged poor conditions in the Butler County Jail as part of the justification. However, other Ohio politicians condemned these ideas.
However, despite allegations from these left-wing politicians, the state has determined that conditions at Butler County Jail meet all relevant standards. The facility is slightly over capacity, but deportees are being processed quickly in cooperation with DHS.
State Rep. Karen Brownlee asserted, “Law enforcement should be known to the community. We cannot tolerate secret police forces tasked with carrying out the president’s anti-immigration policies.” Supporting her comments, Rep. Cecil Thomas added, “If you are expected to come into the state of Ohio, you will be expected to work with our law enforcement officers and that you will work under our rules, not yours.”
Concluding these comments, Rep. Ashley Bryant Bailey of District 26 parroted tired woke talking points, stating, “If folks break the law, they should be held accountable, but it should be done so in humanity and with dignity, and bring a safe process that everyone deserves.”
Reacting to the situation, state Rep. Josh Williams, a Republican who has staunchly defended ICE, noted, “Today’s events in Minneapolis reinforce why we need to pass my bills in Ohio to require local law enforcement cooperate with ICE (HB-26) and make obstructing federal agents a 3rd degree felony (HB-544).”
“Law enforcement should be able to conduct their operations without the chaos being caused by the reckless rhetoric of left-wing politicians,” the courageous politician said to fight back against the left-wing insanity and stand in defense of the brave ICE agents who are fighting for America.

Justifying this insane bill, Ohio Democrat Ismail Mohamed repeated tired DNC talking points about ICE. “This bill would define sensitive location as sites like a place of worship, courthouse, hospital, educational institution, public religious ceremony organizations assisting children, pregnant women, victims of crime or abuse, or individuals with mental or physical disabilities,” he claimed.
Still not done, the irritating Democrat alleged, “Under the Trump administration, we have seen these types of locations being used for brutal immigration enforcement at the hands of unmarked, unidentified officers. What are the places of solace and importance to the community, unfortunately, can be easily turned into places where people can no longer feel safe or secure, places where individuals cannot seek health care services or obtain much-needed services for their children.”
“We will not tolerate that fear running amidst in our communities, especially in our most sacred and important locations for community well being,” Mohamed said to conclude his comments, “I will know this bill does not apply to lawful execution of criminal warrants, but I will remind you that mere undocumented entry into the country is a civil penalty, not a criminal one.”
