For context, one of the central plans of the Donald Trump campaign was to adopt an America First economic policy, where the nation’s interests were prioritized over corporate profits. To accomplish the goal, Trump introduced sweeping tariffs aimed at protecting American industry.
In any case, conservative outlet Townhall took to X on April 9, 2025, to post a video of Rep. Steven Horsford melting down over Trump’s sensible police. The initial post read, “🚨This unhinged Democrat is SCREECHING — but must have misread his talking points:”
During his misguided remarks, Horsfor said, “The speaker is rushing to the floor to pass a budget reconciliation to screw America by passing the biggest tax cut in history on the backs of the American people.”
Reacting to his dubious assertion, Conservatives jumped into the comments to mock the far-left Democrat. One such comment said, “Some focus group obviously told the Democrats to be outraged and drop F bombs as often as possible. This strategy makes you look like the petulant children you are. Here we go to 19% approval.”
