Two Blue state Democrats Face Calls for Their Arrest after Attacking, Interfering with ICE Agents in Riot

On November 25, 2025, federal agents attempted to arrest Victor Molina Rodriguez, an illegal with a long criminal record, in St. Paul, Minnesota. Democratic State Reps. Athena Hollins and Liish Kozlowski joined the violent protest blocking the operation.

Conservatives erupted online, with Libs of TikTok demanding the DOJ charge them for clear obstruction of justice. Hollins complained that St. Paul police shouldn’t assist ICE in a “sanctuary city,” while Kozlowski called the lawful arrest “terrorizing” and an “extreme show of force” against “peaceful” observers.

For context, Homeland Security officials were, when the awful incident occurred, working as part of a sweeping DHS operation to secure the arrest of Victor Molina Rodriguez, a Honduran national with multiple convictions for domestic abuse and disorderly conduct.

As could be expected, when the wild footage of the two Democrat politicians joining a mob attacking immigration agents made its way to social media, conservatives were enraged. Prominent social media influencer Libs of TikTok posted, “HOLY SHLIT. Democrat Minnesota State Reps Athena Hollins and Rep. Liish.”

Continuing her analysis, the conservative noted, “Kozlowski appeared to have joined the anti-ICE riot in Minnesota and was pepper-sprayed after INTERFERING with ICE agents. CHARGE THEM @TheJusticeDept.”

Trying to recast the events of the protest, Representative Athena Hollins took to Facebook. “I’m trying to understand why a lot of the chemical irritants that were used were deployed by our St. Paul Police Department. Especially given that we are supposedly a sanctuary city that was not supposed to be engaging in these activities or supporting ICE and federal agents in what they’re doing,” she claimed.

Similarly, Rep. Liish Kozlowski, the Co-chair of Minnesota People of Color and Indigenous Caucus, issued a woke screed on social media. “From Duluth and Iron Range, Northfield, to cities — our immigrant & communities of color are interconnected,” she ranted, “This is blantantly wrong and shameful terrorizing of our families & communities across our state.”

Providing a biased summary, she claimed, “Today, I witnessed and experienced ICE/StP make an extreme show of force with indiscriminate use of pepper spray, rubber bullets & chemical munitions on peaceful and calm legal observers, news reporters, and electeds.”

Torturing the English language in her absurd screed, the Democrat continued, saying,  “I’ll never unhear the sound of armed and masked federal agents literally cracking a legal observer’s head onto the concrete, then deny medical care for over an hour.”

Finally bringing her post to a close, Kozlowski said, “Not on our time, not on our homelands. We need everyone to get in this fight — starting by joining the response network and bringing your skills, organize, grow collective power to protect our community.”

Likewise, St. Paul Mayor complained about the presence of ICE. “They don’t coordinate with us,” the mayor whined. “They don’t give us the information in advance… They sort of – what they do nationwide – pop up on the scene and create chaos and then leave. And then local communities are left trying to sort out chaos.”

However, social media commentators were unconvinced by the biased narrative. “This is the sht that has to be stopped!” one commentator reacted. Agreeing, another added, “An elected official who cannot respect the country’s laws has no business in public office. They need to be remove.”
