Twitter Users Dunk On Adam Schiff After He Whines About Removal From Important House Committee

Kevin McCarthy continues to power America First legislation through the GOP-controlled House, and now he is humiliating several lying Democrat weasels by removing them from key committees.

McCarthy announced in a January 24th tweet that he had removed both Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Eric Swallwell (D-CA) from the important House Intelligence Committee by noting he was “committed to returning” it “to one of genuine honesty and integrity.”

Schiff famously lied for years about former president Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia, seemingly promising every night on corporate media that he had the next smoking gun and Swalwell will forever be remembered as the congressman who slept with a Chinese spy.

“I have rejected the appointments of Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell for the House Intelligence Committee,” McCarthy shared on Twitter. “I am committed to returning the @HouseIntel Committee to one of genuine honesty and credibility that regains the trust of the American people.”

In response, a sniveling Schiff whined on the same social media platform in performative outrage.

“Kevin McCarthy just kicked me and @RepSwalwell off the Intelligence Committee,” he tweeted later that day. “This is petty, political payback for investigating Donald Trump. If he thinks this will stop me, he will soon find out just how wrong he is. I will always defend our democracy.”

He wasn’t entirely wrong; it was indeed political payback for dragging this country through years of fake news and blatant lies which were all meant to unjustly discredit not just the sitting president but undermine an entire nascent and populist political movement as well.

McCarthy provided a written explanation for his ultimate decision to Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, saying in part in reference to Schiff’s egregious pursuits that “the misuse of this panel during the 116th and 117th Congresses severely undermined its primary national security and oversight missions – ultimately leaving our nation less safe.”

    Twitter 2.0 loved Schiff’s meltdown.

The Federalist’s editor-in-chief Mollie Hemingway started off the appropriate and hilarious thread of comments.

“Adam Schiff, who for years falsely claimed to have evidence of collusion between Trump and Russia, and whose office is known for widespread leaking to support such partisan information operations, has been kicked off the Intel Committee,” she said in her tweet.

Another user wrote, “’This is petty, political payback…’ Okay, look. You lied 24/7 for FOUR YEARS about having proof of President Trump’s collusion with Russia. LIED TO THE AMERICAN PEOPLE. L-I-E-D. It’s not payback. It’s inevitable.”

“You went on TV for two years and said that you had personally seen evidence of Trump colluding with Russia while being told in closed door hearings by intel officials that there was no evidence of it,” he said. “You should resign in disgrace,” said another

The Federalist CEO and co-founder Sean Davis said, “Good. You’re a lying, leaking clown. You and Swalwell can use your extra free time to start the Friends of Fang Fang Committee.”

“You’re actually just not smart. Something you need to be for the INTELLIGENCE committee,” wrote another Twitter user.

Another simply said. “You look like a Furby,” while posting a side-by-side image.
