Tucker Carlson just announced the creation of his new streaming service, the Tucker Carlson Network. Costing $9 a month, it will start featuring Tucker’s interviews, from Kyle Rittenhouse to Andrew Tate, but will grow to encompass more content. Tucker decided to advertise TCN in a hilarious way after announcing it, parking advertising trucks outside mainstream media outlets, saying “corporate media is dead,” and featuring a picture of Tucker.
Announcing the streaming service, Tucker released a video in which he said, “They told you the guys torching Wendy’s in 2020 were mostly peaceful. They said that masks worked. They told you the vax was safe. They tried to convince you that Russia blew up its own pipeline. The corporate media lied too much and it killed them. We’re driving to see during the song Believe me when I tell you wait, ‘I should be boycotting Bud Light.‘”
Watch that here:
Similarly, explaining the impetus for his creation of TCN on the “about” page of the website, Tucker said, “News coverage in the West has become a tool of repression and control. Reporters no longer reveal essential information to the public; they work to hide it. Journalists act as censors on behalf of entrenched power. They have contempt for the public. They hate the truth.”
Continuing, that explainer added, “Democracy can’t function in a society like this. Voters can’t know what they’re voting for. People do understand they’re being manipulated, and they resent it. The population becomes angry and paranoid. Things fall apart. There’s only one solution to a propaganda spiral like the one we’re living through, and it’s telling the truth about the things that matter — clearly and without fear. That’s our job. We plan to do it every day, no matter what.”
Then, encouraging people to subscribe and help him build something new and better than legacy media, he said, “We are the sworn enemies of lying, pomposity, smugness, and groupthink. We believe the corporate media is broken beyond repair, and the only way forward is to build something better. If this sounds like you, too, then join us today. By becoming a member of Team Tucker, you will unlock access to endless hours of exclusive members-only content from Tucker Carlson. Join the movement, and help us tell the truth about the things that matter.”
In any case, Tucker decided to not only try to take business away from the legacy, mainstream media outlets, but to advertise TCN at their expense. And the way he did so was hilarious: he had advertising trucks parked outside the CNN, New York Times, and Washington Post buildings, and the trucks had an ad saying “Corporate Media Is Dead,” with Tucker standing in a characteristic field jacket next to the slogan.

Commenters loved the joke, commenting that Tucker’s money was well spent with the trucks and that they are highly excited to see what content and interviews he comes up with for Tucker Carlson News, and that it was funny to see him mock the MSM and advertise his business in such a clever way.
