Trump Unloads on Fani Willis after Shocking Testimony

Former President Donald Trump recently stated that the charges brought against him in Fulton County, Georgia, “have to be dropped,” following District Attorney Fani Willis’s testimony on the alleged affair she had with Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade.  Trump explained to Fox News Digital that the case against him is a “scam.”

Both Willis and Wade recently testified under oath that they had a romantic relationship, which began in early 2022.  However, the relationship reportedly began after Wade was awarded his contract in the Trump prosecution, drawing concerns surrounding potential conflicts of interest.

“There is no case here,” Trump told Fox News Digital while Willis took the stand and gave her testimony. “It is so badly tainted. There is no case here. There was a perfect phone call. It was perfect. But by going after Trump, she’s able to get her boyfriend more money than they ever dreamed possible.”

The leading GOP candidate called out the district attorney’s case as a means of financially rewarding her ‘boyfriend.’  “The case will have to be dropped,” Trump continued.  “There’s no way they can have a case. The whole thing was a scam to get money for the boyfriend.”

Trump has also claimed the Fulton County case is “election interference” coming from the Biden administration.  The former president cites Wade taking trips to the White House as evidence for this assertion.  “This all comes out of the White House. Don’t forget Wade, the lover, he spent hours at the White House,” Trump said. “This is all a weaponization of politics.”  Trump added, “It’s all about trying to stop somebody who is killing them in the polls, and it is a sad thing to watch for our country.”

Trump further discussed how the charges brought against him are an unprecedented weaponization of the law and judicial process.  “This is a total breakdown of law and order and a total breakdown of justice — it is weaponization at a level that nobody’s seen before. Nobody’s seen anything like this,” he said.

Needless to say, Trump has had the kitchen sink thrown at him in terms of legal challenges ahead of his rematch against Joe Biden later this year.  The American Tribune recently reported on the former president’s pertaining to the classified documents case against him.

Trump sounded off on Special Counsel Jack Smith calling for the charges in his case to be “immediately” dropped following news that Joe Biden would not be charged in his mishandling of classified information.  He claimed Biden’s case was substantially worse than his, maintaining that the “deranged” special counsel should clear him of criminal charges.

“They should immediately drop the case against me,” the former president said.  “I am covered by the Presidential Records Act — he wasn’t. He had many, many times more documents — totally unguarded. Mine were always surrounded by Secret Service and in locked rooms.” Trump added, “This is 100 times more severe. This is two standards of justice and it has to end in our country.  Deranged Jack Smith should drop the case immediately against us.”
