Trump-Supporting Golf Legend Phil Mickelson Skewers Biden with Subtle Jab with No Kings Day Post

In a typically hilarious quip, golf legend Phil Mickelson, the athlete, mocked the nationwide “No Kings” protests against President Trump and GOP priorities, doing so with a sarcastic and very funny X post in which eh praised the movement for supposedly ending Biden-era “auto pen pardons,” as well as other accomplishments that would horrify the left.

For reference, this is far from the only time Mickelson, an outspoken Trump supporter, has weighed in on politics. For example, he recently slammed Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer, calling him a “traitor” for opposing the SAVE Act. Schumer went on an insane screed against the act, which would restrict non-citizen voting, prompting a takedown from Mickelson.

In any case, launching his X-based broadside against the “No Kings” protest, Mickelson said, “On this special day as we all gather to fight against blanket auto pen pardons and executive orders, lawlessness, and stealing citizen’s resources for illegal non citizens, I believe it has worked!! That is no longer happening so great job everyone,” he joked.

In the comments under his post, conservatives rallied behind his message, as could be expected of an entertaining broadside against the ridiculous woke protests. “My dad was a fan of yours because of your golfing. I am a fan because of your politics.🫡,” one said. Agreeing, another comment stated, “Once again you show your class & sense of humor to lighten the mood. Still my favorite golfer. God bless you & your family.”

However, some liberals were triggered by Mickelson’s entertaining and brave display, as could be expected. “You are so sorry, Phil. I regret ever rooting for you, especially when you won your first major. Be best,” a poorly worded retort said. Another bitter leftist reacted, “*My golf game now sucks with age so I’m going to become MAGA in a desperate attempt to stay relevant. (FIFY)”

As we at the American Tribune previously reported, Mickelson had another great internet moment when he clashed with Chuck Schumer over the SAVE Act, or the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, which is a proposed law designed to ensure only citizens vote in federal elections. The act would require states to verify citizenship at voting locations to prevent fraud in elections.

The drama began with an inciting post from conservative pundit Eric Daughterty, which features Schumer’s meltdown on the Senate floor. The initial tweet, which was made on April 30, 2025, stated, “🚨 JUST IN: Chuck Schumer announces that the SAVE Act, which requires proof of citizenship to register to vote nationwide, is DONE. Won’t go to Trump’s desk. DOA. It needs 60 votes. Schumer turned around, looked at Republicans, and gloated as he said this.”

Reacting to that viral message, the golfer declared, “How is this fighting for Americans? How is letting non citizens vote in American elections a good thing? It is NOT! He is not representing America, its citizens nor their best interests. He’s a traitor.”

Swiping at Mickelson, a snarky liberal replied, “Plot twist. Non citizens don’t vote in federal elections.” However, the golf legend was undeterred and fired back an epic response. He said, “Then this bill shouldn’t be a problem. Those who live in CA are acutely aware of how many non citizens vote and undermine the system and our country.”
