President Donald Trump took to his Truth Social social media platform to slam the Supreme Court for putting America at risk with its anti-tariff ruling and reveal another win that has been delivered by his tariff regime despite the Supreme Court’s awful, nearly incomprehensible ruling on the issue.
As background, the Supreme Court found many of President Trump’s tariffs unconstitutional in a ruling issued in mid-February, finding that the president did not have the power to impose what it characterized as a tax, and that the tariffs would have to be passed by Congress. The president responded by issuing more tariffs on a different authority.
So, to take the anti-tariff crowd to task and reveal how tariffs are helping save and rebuild America, the president noted that a major pharmaceutical company is moving a massive number of jobs and facilities to America, saying: “Tariffs have influenced Novartis, and its great leader, Vasant (Vas) Narasimhan, M.D., to build 7+ Manufacturing and R&D Facilities, creating thousands of Jobs.”
Continuing, he noted that the radicals remain in freakout mode over the whole situation, but the reality is that tariffs have induced a great many companies to start moving jobs and facilities to America. He said, “The Radical Left and the Lunatics who are suing against Tariffs refuse to talk about this, but the same thing is happening with hundreds of other Companies!”
Further, the president, who has repeatedly said he wants to use the tariffs to end the individual income tax, skewered the Supreme Court in another scorcher of a post on Truth Social. In that February 27 post, he said, “The recent Decision of the United States Supreme Court concerning TARIFFS could allow for Hundreds of Billions of Dollars to be returned to Countries and Companies that have been “ripping off” the United States of America for many years, and now, according to this Decision, could actually continue to do so, at an even increased level.”
Continuing, the president noted that the Supreme Court seemingly wants him to give a major financial windfall to various regimes, many of which are hostile to America, saying, “I am sure that the Supreme Court did not have this in mind! It doesn’t make sense that Countries and Companies that took advantage of us for decades, receiving Billions and Billions of Dollars that they should not have been allowed to receive, would now be entitled to an undeserved “windfall,” the likes of which the World has never seen before, as a result of this highly disappointing, to say the least, ruling. Is a Rehearing or Readjudication of this case possible??? PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP”

Commenting in his State of the Union address on how he could use the tariffs to end the income tax, the president said, “And as time goes by, I believe the tariffs paid for by foreign countries will, like in the past, substantially replace the modern-day system of income tax, taking a great financial burden off the people that I love.”
