Trump Refrains From Deporting Prince Harry, Claims “He’s Got Enough Problems With his Wife”

President Donald Trump recently indicated that he would not seek to deport Prince Harry from the United States, suggesting the self-exiled member of the British royal family has enough problems in his marriage to deal with.  According to reports, Harry’s immigration status recently came into question after the Heritage Foundation claimed he may have concealed past drug abuse, which would disqualify him from obtaining a U.S. visa.

However, when questioned about the news, President Trump claimed he was not interested in allocating resources to the deportation of Prince Harry.  “I don’t want to do that. I’ll leave him alone. He’s got enough problems with his wife. She’s terrible,” Trump told the New York Post.  The stance appears to be a much friendlier approach compared to the president’s prior comments toward the prince.

“I wouldn’t protect him,” Trump previously said. “He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own if it was down to me.”  The president had also criticized the Biden administration for refusing to investigate Harry’s immigration records.  “I think they have been too gracious to him after what he has done,” he said.

According to reports from the Heritage Foundation, Prince Harry may have lied about past illegal drug usage on immigration documents.  It has been argued that he waived his right to privacy after divulging past consumption of illicit drugs in his memoir “Spare.”  His book, published in 2023, claimed that he had used cocaine several times as a teenager while experimenting with weed and mushrooms.

While Prince Harry may have been spared from deportation, the Trump administration has quickly moved to hold up its promise to voters and enact mass deportations around the country.  The American Tribune recently reported on comments from border czar Tom Homan, who explained to ABC News that anyone in the United States illegally is “on the table” for deportation.

He told the outlet, “We got military on the border, not only helping us with departure flights on military planes, or they’re helping to build infrastructure, they’re putting up concertina wire, where they’re down there to create a secure border and, knock that border down. The DOD has helped administrations before, but not at this level, so it’s a force multiplier, and it’s sending a strong signal to the world: our border is closed.”

Explaining that the number of deportations will continue to ramp up, Homan said, “You’re going to see the numbers steadily increase, the number of arrests nationwide as we open up the aperture. Right now, it’s concentrating on public safety threats, national security threats. That’s a smaller population. So we’re going to do this on priority base, that’s President Trump’s promise. But as that aperture opens, there’ll be more arrests nationwide.”

He maintained, “If you’re in the country illegally, you’re on the table because it’s not okay to, you know, violate the laws of this country. You got to remember, every time you enter this country illegally, you violated a crime under Title Eight, the United States Code 1325, it’s a crime. So if you’re in a country illegally, you got a problem. And that’s why I’m hoping those who are in the country illegally, who have not been ordered removed by the federal judge, should leave.”
