Posting on Truth Social, President Donald Trump quoted journalist and commentator Gregg Jarrett to argue that he had been framed by the Deep State in the Russian Collusion Hoax that caused so much chaos during his first term and did so much to hold up his agenda and be sand in the gears of his administration.
As background, renewed attention has been placed on the Russia Hoax incident ever since the DOJ announced that it has launched a criminal investigation into both former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey, both of whom were key players in the Russiagate scandal.
In any case, beginning his post about the situation, the president led off by praising Jarrett and quoting him as arguing that the fake narrative was itself an illegal conspiracy. He said, “The GREAT Gregg Jarrett: ‘It’s clear Trump was framed. The collusion narrative was a conspiracy itself. The collaborators knew it was a lie, but they manipulated the Dossier and the CIA to peddle their fairy tale.'”
Continuing the president noted that both Brennan and Comey had found ways to manipulate their system to their advantage and push the Steele Dossier through, saying, “Brennan and Comey manipulated the system, and the document itself. They abused their power. Comey lauched a case against Trump in violation of the FBI Regulations. He deceived the FISA Court with the Dossier to gain a Spy Warrant. John Brennan used that Dossier knowing it was GARBAGE, and he insisted it be put in the Intelligence Committee Assessment.”
Drilling down on John Brennan in particular, the president then quoted Jarrett as saying that the former CIA director had acted illegally and so can be charged for his lies to Congress. He wrote, “He knew it was such a Phony Document and that if it could be put in the Intellegence Committee Assessment, it will elevate the credibility and that he could drive Trump from office. He told Congress that it wasn’t in the Assessment – WELL IT WAS! Can he be charged? YES HE CAN!”
The president then quoted Jarrett’s comments about the American public no longer trusting the intelligence state because of these issues, saying, “They eroded confidence and trust in the American Government, particularly the FBI, CIA, and other agencies, single-handedly. THEY SET BACK AMERICA CONSIDERABLY. James Comey needs daily therapy. He is so obsessed with his hatred of Trump. It’s what drove the Russia Hoax.”
Further hammering Comey for the lies he pushed and his other illegal behavior, such as leaking stolen documents to the media, the president quoted Jarrett as saying, “He, more than anybody else, drove the Witch Hunt, and he can never get over the fact that he failed, and got fired – And he hates that, as well. On his way out the door, he purloined FBI Documents and leaked them to the Media with the plan that this will trigger the Special Counsel and drive Trump from office.”

Concluding, the president quoted Jarrett as getting a jab in at former FBI Director Robert Mueller, who became the special counsel targeting Trump, and went on to praise Garrett again. He said, “‘Bob Mueller was appointed, his long time mentor and friend. But in the end his scheme failed!’ Wow, thank you Gregg, AMAZING REPORTING!”
