Trump Goes Nuclear on RINOs Attacking His “Big, Beautiful” Bill

Posting on his Truth Social social media platform, President Donald Trump pulled no punches while attacking the RINOs in the Senate who are holding up his “Big, Beautiful Bill” while making false claims about what the bill would do, primarily in how they lie about the matter of the deficit and spending cuts. Joining in, leading Trump aide Stephen Miller exploded on the lies told about the bill as well.

For reference, the “Big, Beautiful Bill” is not, as certain Congressional libertarians like Rep. Thomas Massie and Sen. Rand Paul have characterized it, a spending bill that will increase the deficit. Rather, it makes the Trump Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent, cuts some spending, and funds deportations and the border wall.

Explaining as much in a post on X that torched the claims of the RINOs, Stephen Miller said, “The Big Beautiful Bill contains three major sections: 1. The most significant border security and deportation effort in history, including the entire wall — up front, now, with no possibility of Democrat obstruction. 2. Full extension and expansion of the Trump Tax Cuts (this is what CBO is “scoring” — not spending, TAX CUTS. The ones we campaigned on and pledged!) 3. The largest welfare reform in history, CUTTING almost $2 trillion in spending (net) Item 1 alone (border security + deportation) makes this the most important legislation for the conservative project in the history of the nation.”

As could be expected, given the unfair and disengenuous attacks on his bill, which would mainly help the Americans who need tax relief the most, President Trump went nuclear on the RINOs, particularly Rand Paul, when posting about the matter of the bill and its provisions on Truth Social.

In his first post explicitly attacking Rand on Tuesday, June 3, Trump said that the senator doesn’t understand the economic growth that will come from it, saying, “Rand Paul has very little understanding of the BBB, especially the tremendous GROWTH that is coming. He loves voting “NO” on everything, he thinks it’s good politics, but it’s not. The BBB is a big WINNER!!!”

In a second post on the matter that came just a few minutes later, the president hammered Sen. Paul for never being constructive and instead just trying to hold things up. He said, “Rand votes NO on everything, but never has any practical or constructive ideas. His ideas are actually crazy (losers!). The people of Kentucky can’t stand him. This is a BIG GROWTH BILL!”

Rand Paul, for his part, backed down somewhat on X after Trump’s furious posts, saying, “While I oppose increasing the debt ceiling by $5 trillion, I enthusiastically support making the tax cuts permanent and could vote for the Big not-yet Beautiful Bill if the debt ceiling were voted on separately . . .”

That, in turn, led to a fury-filled reply from Stephen Miller, who wrote, “With the post below, Rand just conceded he has no substantive objections to any provision in the bill — because he knows it’s a big tax cut combined with a big spending cut combined with permanent border security. His sole objection is that he wants to force Republicans and President Trump to make a deal with Schumer to raise the debt ceiling that he can then vote against. Of course, a deal with Schumer to raise the debt ceiling means a tax HIKE and a spending HIKE. So, his sole demand, is to take a course of action that equals more spending and more taxing and still of course extends the borrowing limit.”

In another post, Miller noted the absurdity of libertarian objections to a bill that cuts taxes and deports illegal aliens, saying, “We are in a struggle for the survival of civilization itself and we have libertarians threatening to derail the entire agenda over bogus CBO pie charts. We will be debating these matters over the ruins of the West if we don’t control migration.”

Miller also accused the libertarian contingent of being aligned with Sen. Schumer and the Democrats, saying, “The Democrat Party and ruling class spent ten years trying to destroy President Trump because they know he is an existential threat to their corrupt rule. Democrats leave libertarians alone, because they are useful to them. Schumer is praying for Rand and Massie to succeed.”
