This poll, conducted amid Trump’s 11-month administration, reveals deep demographic divides: 59% of men approve, compared with 34% who disapprove, while women show 42% approval and 47% disapproval. Trump ties at 44% approval among voters under 40, but enjoys 54% among those 40-64 and 49% among seniors 65+.
By party, Trumpgarners 84% from Republicans, 25% from Democrats, and 37% from independents, with 41% disapproving. The U.S. economy’s robust performance is likely to bolster these ratings. Third-quarter 2025 GDP grew at an annualized 4.3%, the fastest rate in two years, surpassing forecasts of 3.3% and accelerating from Q2’s 3.8%.
The economy has been buoyed by strong consumer spending, rising exports, and a $166 billion surge in corporate profits; this growth defied the early-year contraction of 0.6% in Q1, which was partly attributed to tariffs.
