Trump Fires Off Warning to Iran after Yet More Threats Made Against His Life

Former President Donald Trump recently gave a fierce warning to the Islamic Republic of Iran after he received more threats against his life from the adversarial nation.  After the Republican presidential candidate has already faced two assassination attempts, he called out Iran, urging the country to tread lightly.

Trump’s comments come after it was revealed last week during a meeting with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) that there are legitimate threats against his life.  According to reports, there are  “real and specific threats from Iran to assassinate him in an effort to destabilize and sow chaos in the United States.”

Taking to social media, the former president wrote, “Big threats on my life by Iran.  The entire U.S. Military is watching and waiting. Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. Not a good situation for anyone. I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before.”

Trump also expressed gratitude to Congress for approving additional Secret Service funding in a bipartisan effort following the attempts on his life.  “Thank you to Congress for unanimously approving far more money to Secret Service – Zero ‘NO’ Votes, strictly bipartisan,” he wrote. “Nice to see Republicans and Democrats get together on something. An attack on a former President is a Death Wish for the attacker!”

The American Tribune also reported on comments from the former president regarding his concern for his family’s safety amid the legitimate threats and failed assassination attempts waged against him.  Speaking to Fox News Channel’s Brian Kilmeade of “One Nation” earlier this month, Trump said, “Look, we’re under siege and no country has ever suffered like we have for the last three-and-a-half, almost four years.”

Trump highlighted that millions of potentially dangerous individuals have flooded into the United States through the southern border, negatively impacting communities across the American interior. “When they allow millions of people to come into our country, from prisons, right? From prisons. And terrorists, and people from mental institutions, and they take over our parks. Look at New York – you can’t play Little League baseball anymore,” he said.

When Kilmeade asked Trump if he was concerned for the safety of his family amid the chaos surrounding him, Trump indicated that he was.  “I do. I do. I don’t talk about it, but I do. I have to worry about family. I have to worry about everybody,” Trump said.  Looking to Kilmeade, he added, “I worry about you.”

Later in the interview, the two discussed Sen. Vance and his upcoming debate with Gov. Walz.  Trump said, “He won’t get a fair shot. But he will handle it very good.”  The former president then added, “I think he’s done great. People are really liking him. He’s tough, smart, he loves our country. He’s going to have no trouble.”
