Trump Ends All Immigration from Somalia in Response to Fraud Scandal

In yet more big news from the Trump Administration as it works to crack down on the massive fraud scandal that has dominated the news for weeks, as Somali migrants in Minnesota are discovered to have committed increasingly absurd and obscene amounts of fraud, it was announced that the Administration has cut off all immigration from Somalia.

As background, revelation after revelation has revealed that the Somali migrants in Minnesota have committed immense amounts of fraud targeting a slew of welfare programs funded by both state and federal taxpayers, with perhaps $18 billion or more having been stolen by the piratical migrants.

Programs from which they stole hundreds of millions of dollars each included such things as the “Feeding Our Future” program, which aimed to provide free meals to needy children, and a program that was meant to help indigent Minnesotans afford to send their children to subsidized childcare facilities.

So, in response to that massive fraud that seems to encompass much of the Somali community, which has an immense rate of welfare program usage, in any case, the Trump Administration has both ended TPS for Somali migrants and cut off any immigration from Somalia into America, effective almost immediately.

Such is what the Daily Caller revealed, noting that the State Department is totally freezing immigration from a whopping 75 countries effective on January 21. Included amongst the dozens of countries blocked from immigrating to the United States is Somalia, clearly included because of the massive fraud and money-smuggling problem.

Commenting on the matter to The Daily Caller, State Department Deputy Principal Spokesperson Tommy Pigott noted that America would no longer be allowing immigrants to exploit it, saying, “Under President Trump, we will not allow aliens to abuse America’s immigration system and exploit the generosity of the American people.”

Continuing, the spokesperson explained that Somali migrants have become particularly notorious for their tendency to steal from the American people and become public charges relying on welfare programs, saying, “For years, foreign nationals from Somalia have entered the United States and extracted wealth from the American taxpayer, including by taking welfare at obscene rates.”

So, Pigott explained, the State Department is using its broad authority to shut off immigration from Somalia, amongst other countries, to protect American taxpayers from being flooded by a tidal wave of public charges who are also fraudsters, saying, “The Trump administration is exercising the State Department’s long-standing authority to end this abuse of our immigration system.”

Providing a statement to Fox News Digital on the ending of TPS for the Somali migrants who are in our midst, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem laid out the details behind yanking TPS away from the Somali migrants in America. “Temporary means temporary. Country conditions in Somalia have improved to the point that it no longer meets the law’s requirement for Temporary Protected Status. Further, allowing Somali nationals to remain temporarily in the United States is contrary to our national interests. We are putting Americans first,” she said.
