Speaking in an interview on the podcast “Stay Tuned with Preet Bharara,” a very left-leaning interview show, radically far-left former Biden and Obama ally, advisor, and ambassador Susan Rice said that she and others in the political left are planning on getting revenge on the businesses and individuals who have supported President Donald J. Trump. The president responded by demanding that Netflix fire Rice from its board.
As background, Rice, who has moved more openly to the radical political left after long pretending to be a moderate, emphasized during the horrible interview that she and others on the political left are watching what is going on and waiting to get “revenge” in a systemic and organized fashion when they retake power.
It was in response to those threats of vengeance against him and his supporters that President Trump sounded off in an angry post on Truth Social, declaring that Rice is “deranged” and Netflix needs to part ways with her ASAP, adding a threat of his own as he did so. The president began, “Netflix should fire racist, Trump Deranged Susan Rice, IMMEDIATELY, or pay the consequences.”
Continuing, the president slammed Rice as a “political hack” and questioned if she is being paid to push this horrible message. He said, “She’s got no talent or skills – Purely a political hack! HER POWER IS GONE, AND WILL NEVER BE BACK. How much is she being paid, and for what??? Thank you for your attention to this matter.”
During the February 19th interview that sparked the president’s furious Truth Social sound off, Rice said, broaching the subject of revenge and serving it, “A very prominent public figure, who has served at nearly the very highest levels, once told me … ‘Revenge is best served cold,’ and the older I get, the more I see the wisdom of that.”
Continuing, she vowed to get revenge on all the companies and individuals who have supported President Trump and his agenda, saying, “When it comes to the elites, you know, the corporate interests, the law firms, the universities, the media … it’s not going to end well for them, for those that decided that they would act in their perceived very narrow self-interest, which I would underscore, is very short-term self-interest, and, you know, take a knee to Trump.”

Still not done, Rice then said, “They’re now starting to realize, wait a minute, no, this is not popular. Trump is not popular. What he is doing, whether on the economy and affordability or on immigration now, is not popular, and there is likely to be a swing in the other direction, and they are going to be caught with more than their pants down.” She added, tossing in yet another threat, “They’re going to be held accountable by those who come in opposition to Trump and win at the ballot box.”
Further, Rice insisted, “And I can tell you, Preet, as I talk to leaders in Washington, leaders in our party, leaders in the states, if these corporations think that the Democrats when they come back in power are going to, you know, play by the old rules and [say] ‘Never mind, we’ll forgive you for all the people you fired, all the policies and principles you violated, all the laws you’ve skirted.’
Concluding with yet another threat, Rice said, “I think they’ve got another thing coming … they’re going to be surprised. Democrats have had a bellyful, and we’re not going to play by, you know, the old set of rules.” Rice then declared, “We’re not going to be suckers … there will be an accountability agenda.”
