Trump Calls The Democratic Party America’s “Greatest Enemy” and Hakeem Jeffries Go Absolutely Ballistic in Wild-Eyed Meltdown

President Donald J. Trump gave the Democratic Party a good thrashing in a furious post on Truth Social about the ongoing Operation Epic Fury strikes in Iran and how the American political left is doing its darnedest to seemingly sink any American chance of victory in the conflict, calling them “the enemy” because of that.

As could be expected, that drove the left into a fury-filled overdrive, with House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) appearing on the “State of the Union” program on CNN with host Dana Bash on Sunday, March 22 and going ballistic, shouting that the president needs to keep his “reckless mouth shut”.

It began with a post on Truth Social that came on Saturday, March 21. The president said, “Now with the death of Iran, the greatest enemy America has is the Radical Left, Highly Incompetent, Democratic Party! Thank you for your attention to this matter. President DJT.”

That post appeared to be provoked both by the efforts of the Democrats and RINOs to restrain his power, and by the ongoing Department of Homeland Security shutdown inflicted by Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY). It could also have been provoked by Rep. Jeffries gloatingly insisting that the operation would be a failure, saying, “The American people want us to focus on making their life better and making their life more affordable; not getting involved in another endless war in the Middle East that is going to end in failure. This administration somehow found the resources, has found billions of dollars for bombs but can’t find any money to actually bring down the high cost of living here in the United States of America.”

So, when Rep. Jeffries appeared on CNN on Sunday, Dana Bash asked if he would like to respond to the president’s claim and he responded by going ballistic, yelling, “Donald Trump should keep his reckless mouth shut before he gets somebody killed!” Jeffries added that the operation is a “reckless war of choice.”

Continuing, Jeffries then absurdly insisted that the president and his team didn’t predict the Iranians to attempt to close the Straits of Hormuz, a ridiculous contention given that it has been the main scenario around which every war game regarding the Strait has long planned. He said, “They clearly didn’t anticipate some of the things that have happened, including the closure of the Strait of Hormuz.”

Then, pointing to a temporary rise in oil prices in a desperate attempt to attack the president, Jeffries said, “What you’re seeing right now are gas prices are through the roof, and that’s adding to an environment in America right now where life has already become too expensive for the American people because of failed policies by Donald Trump.”

Further, when asked if Democrats would fund the Pentagon as it tries to wrap the operation up, Jeffries refused to give a straight answer. He began by saying, “Well, we’ll have that leadership conversation when we actually have a piece of legislation that is in front of us.”

He added, “But I can tell you, uh, there is strong opposition right now to the notion that this war of choice — that is reckless, that’s costing the American people now more than $30 billion — should continue. We need to move, which we plan on doing in short order, a War Powers Resolution so we can bring this situation to a close.”
