Trump Calls Out “Crooked” Deep State Hacks, Says They’ll “Pay the Price” in Prison

Speaking about former CIA Director John Brennan and former FBI Director James Comey during a very explosive press event, President Donald Trump sounded off on the two deep state hacks who did so much to derail his first presidential term and argued that because they are “crooked,” they will find themselves in jail, where they will “pay the price.”

As background, the FBI is investigating both Brennan and Comer over their roles in the Trump-Russia probe that is referred to as “Russiagate” by many in MAGA given what the Deep State tried to do to torpedo President Trump’s presidential term by lying about his relationship with Russia. Trump sounded off on the two hacks when speaking on Wednesday, July 9 during a press event with African leaders in the White House’s State Room.

Peter Doocy precipitated the president’s remarks by asking about the probe, which is examining their potential wrongdoing and whether Brennan lied to Congress. Referencing the new federal law enforcement probe into Comey and Brennan, Doocy asked, “Do you want to see these two guys behind bars?”

Responding, President Trump told Doocy that he doesn’t know much about the probe into the two men but thinks that both of them are “dishonest” men. He began, “Well, I know nothing about it other than what I read today.” Continuing, the president said, attacking the two agents of the Deep State, “But I will tell you, I think they’re very dishonest people.”

Not done, he went on to add that not only are they dishonest, but they are “crooked” too. He said, “I think they’re crooked as hell.” Building on that, he added that because they are crooked, they might need to “pay the price” for their illegality, meaning going to jail. He said, “And, maybe they have to pay a price for that.”

Adding to that, the president returned to attacking both of them as “dishonest” and indicated that he will be fine with whatever action the DOJ decides to take against them. He said, “I believe they are truly bad people and dishonest people.” He added, “So whatever happens, happens.”

The CIA report revealing that Brennan potentially lied to Congress noted that he appeared swayed by what he wanted to think about Trump being in the Steele dossier, saying, “Despite these objections, Brennan showed a preference for narrative consistency over analytical soundness. When confronted with specific flaws in the Dossier by the two mission center leaders – one with extensive operational experience and the other with a strong analytic background – he appeared more swayed by the Dossier’s general conformity with existing theories than by legitimate tradecraft concerns.”

Continuing, it added that Brennan then put in writing that he wanted the CIA’s report on Trump to include the Steele dossier, providing, “Brennan ultimately formalized his position in writing, stating that ‘my bottomline is that I believe that the information warrants inclusion in the report.’”

Much in contrast to that writing, he told Congress, as Fox News Digital reports, “The CIA was very much opposed to having any reference or inclusion of the Steele dossier in the Intelligence Community Assessment. And so they sent over a copy of the dossier to say that this was going to be separate from the rest of that assessment.”
