President Trump’s younger adult son, Eric Trump, just took to Twitter to announce that his father was just awarded nearly $122,000 in lawyer’s fees from porn actress Stormy Daniels, saying, “BREAKING!!! the 9th Circuit just awarded Trump $121,962.56 in attorney fees from Stormy Daniels. Order just released. This in addition to the roughly $500k she already owes him.”

Harmeet Dhillon, his lawyer, responded to the Eric Trump tweet, saying, “Congratulations to President Trump on this final attorney fee victory in his favor this morning. Collectively, our firm obtained over $600,000 in attorney fee awards in his favor in the meritless litigation initiated by Stormy Daniels.”

Former President Trump bragged about the award on Truth Social, saying, “Alvin Bragg shut down New York City, brought in 38,000 NYPD officers, and will spend an estimated $200,000,000 of NYC funds, for a totally legal $130,000 NDA. On top of all that, the 9th Circuit Court just awarded me $122,000 — over the $500,000 already awarded, from Stormy “Horseface” Daniels!”
The award came mere hours after the former president pleaded not guilty in a New City Court to 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree, which is what Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg decided to charge him with in what many are characterizing as banana republic-like charges. Fox News Digital, reporting on those charges, said:
The charges, stemming from the hush money payment, came out of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s years-long investigation.
The investigation is scrutinizing six-figure payments made to Daniels and former Playboy model Karen McDougal, both of whom claimed sexual encounters with Trump years before he got into politics. Trump has denied these allegations and has denied any wrongdoing involving payments and pleaded not guilty to all the charges on Tuesday.
Trump, for his part, has taken to Truth Social to sound off on this week’s events. In one post, for example, he called on the House GOP to defund the FBI and DOJ, saying, “REPUBLICANS IN CONGRESS SHOULD DEFUND THE DOJ AND FBI UNTIL THEY COME TO THEIR SENSES. THE DEMOCRATS HAVE TOTALLY WEAPONIZED LAW ENFORCEMENT IN OUR COUNTRY AND ARE VICIOUSLY USING THIS ABUSE OF POWER TO INTERFERE WITH OUR ALREADY UNDER SIEGE ELECTIONS!”
In another post he argued the case against him has no merit whatsoever, saying, “Almost every legal and political analyst has said that the unfair and morally disgusting Indictment filed against me yesterday has NO MERIT, and is not even a case. There was no crime and, anyway, the Statute of Limitations has been violated by many years.”
Similarly, he accused Democrats of weaponizing the legal system, saying, “The Democrats have weaponized our system of laws like the USA has never seen before. The people, however, see what is going on and they will not allow it to continue. Tremendous spirit, right now, in the Republican Party!” That came after another, very similar post in which he said, “Just lifted off for Palm Beach, Florida. Will be delivering remarks tonight at Mar-a-Lago at 8:15 P.M., EASTERN. The hearing was shocking to many in that they had no “surprises,” and therefore, no case. Virtually every legal pundit has said that there is no case here. There was nothing done illegally!”
