The Trump White House has taken new steps to expose the media’s lies and bias, using the official White House website to do so. The project is a new White House website that calls out media bias, featuring both a “Media Offender of the Week” and an “Offender Hall of Shame.”
Currently, the lie being focused on by the new portion of the website centers on the video released by six Democrats in which they called on service members to disobey the president’s orders if they deem those orders to be “illegal”. President Trump called the video “seditious”.
For reference, the video, titled “Don’t Give Up the Ship,” was posted on Tuesday, November 18. It included statements from Sen. Elissa Slotkin, Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ), Rep. Chris Deluzio (D-PA), Rep. Maggie Goodlander (D-NH), Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-PA), and Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO). All six leftist lawmakers in the video spoke of their own service in the military and intelligence establishment while calling on troops to “refuse unlawful orders.”
President Trump, posting about what had happened on Truth Social, declared that the video was an immense danger to America and represented seditious and treasonous behavior, saying, “This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP??? President DJT”
The leftist media predictably responded, doing with the new website section that calls out the media, which it launched on Friday, November 28. It said, in a section titled “The Offense”, “The media misrepresented President Trump’s call for Members of Congress to be held accountable for inciting sedition by saying that he called for their ‘execution.’”
Continuing, in a section titled “The Truth”, the White House noted the serious insinuation in the Democrats’ video, saying, “The Democrats and Fake News Media subversively implied that President Trump had issued illegal orders to service members. Every order President Trump has issued has been lawful.”
Further, the “The Truth” section noted that President Trump’s response had been to declare that those responsible should be held accountable, saying, “It is dangerous for sitting Members of Congress to incite insubordination in the United States’ military, and President Trump called for them to be held accountable.”

Adding to that, the White House released a “Key Points” section in which it noted, “Democrats released a video calling for service members to disobey their chain of command, and in turn, implied President Trump had issued illegal orders” and “President Trump has never issued an illegal order. The Fake News knew that, but ran with the story anyway.”
Announcing the new site on X, Kaelan Dorr, Deputy Assistant to the President and White House Deputy Communications Director, said, “🚨🚨🚨 For those of you still arguing with family over the holidays. We rolled out http://WH.gov/mediabias today for you. But most importantly, to hold the media accountable. Misleading? Biased? Prepare to be EXPOSED.”
