Marking a significant win for Trump’s mass immigration agenda, the Department of Homeland Security deported eight illegal aliens to South Sudan on Independence Day. The deportations came after the Supreme Court overturned a futile attempt by Democratic judges to block the Trump administration from removing criminals from the country. The eight men sent to South Sudan had been convicted of many crimes, such as murder, sexual assault, and kidnapping.
For context, the DHS slammed “activist judges” for endangering ICE officers who were stranded abroad during futile legal challenges. Addressing the issue, Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin labeled the deportations a victory for American safety and the rule of law.
Such was shown when DHS Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin announced, “These sickos were finally deported to South Sudan on Independence Day. After weeks of delays by activist judges that put our law enforcement in danger, ICE deported these eight barbaric criminal illegal aliens who are so heinous even their own countries will not accept them.”
Explaining the significance of this victory, she added, “These are not just immigration cases. These are threats to American communities that judges tried to force ICE to return to the United States. This was a win for the rule of law, safety, and security of the American people.”
Emphasizing the essential role of ICE, she added, “We thank our brave ICE law enforcement for their sacrifice to defend our freedoms. We will continue to fight for the freedoms of Americans while these far-left activists continue to try and force us to bring murderers, pedophiles and rapists back to the U.S.”
However, the Democrats were enraged by this decision, such as Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA), who whined, “The Trump administration just dropped 8 immigrants — who they were previously holding in a shipping container in Djibouti — into war torn South Sudan. Cruel. Inhumane. There aren’t words to describe how disgusting this is. We’ll keep fighting.”
Making fun of her in the comments, one user joked, “What do you mean? It’s a benevolent act of charity that will boost South Sudan’s economy. 🥰” Blasting the woke Democrat, another user said, “One day I hope you fight as hard for the safety of your fellow Americans, as you do for child rapist and murderers who are being deported.”

Annoyed by her blatant disregard for public safety, a comment noted, “What vetting is possible for these illegal migrants? Seriously. What biometric databases do we have access to that reveal the crimes they committed in their home country? What access do we have to reliable identification information? I’ll answer for you: NONE.”
Reacting to the news on social media, one conservative posted, “The first set of illegals are off to their new home in the South Sudan, these criminals were convicted of murder, rape and assault This is what I voted for…. my vote counted.”
Replying to the post, one comment noted, “I’m sure all they need is a change of scenery, and they can start a new life!! 😁 However much we paid Sudan to take them, I’m certain that it was a fraction of what it would have cost to keep them in prison for decades here in the US.”
Building on this point, one conservative said, “@ACLU tried to get a pardon from WA Governor for the murderer to avoid deportation. Tho I think Trump would’ve still deported him. Illegal aliens aren’t subject to our laws &“have no criminal record” bc Dems wipe their records clean, dismiss cases, & plea so they won’t be deported.”
