Trump Admin Launches War on “Rampant Abuse” in DEI Contracting Program

In a new move of absolutely massive importance, one that could help average MAGA Americans to a tremendous degree, the Trump Administration went to war with the diversity fraud complex, announcing a sweeping investigation into the SBA 8(a) program that is suspected of being a rat’s nest of major fraud.

Such is what former Republican US Senator from Georgia and 28th Administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration Kelly Loeffler announced in a post on X, noting that her SBA is investigating all of the thousands upon thousands of federal contractors who are involved with the program and will be requiring them to turn over records as potential fraud is investigated.

As background, the 8(a) program was started in the 1970s and is thus is one of the largest and oldest DEI initiatives in America. It affects contracts at almost all federal agencies, and provides incentives and aid to small businesses that work with the government in a contracting role and are owned by “disadvantaged” individuals, which has come to just mean racial minorities.

In any case, announcing the huge step forward to root out fraud in a post on X, Loeffler declared, “Today, SBA has issued a letter to all 4,300 8(a) contractors across the federal government, ordering them to produce financial records as part of a comprehensive effort to root out fraud, waste, and abuse.”

Continuing, she noted the sort of information that they are being required to turn over, indicating that the SBA is working on who is actually owning and running the companies involved in the program, as much of the alleged fraud revolves around nominal minority ownership meant ot make it look like the small business qualifies.

In that section of the announcement, Secretary Loeffler explained, “All firms are required to provide documents from the last three fiscal years – including bank statements, employment records, contracting agreements, and subcontracting agreements.”

Adding to that, she explained the scheme that the SBA suspects is ongoing, noting that many of the thousands upon thousands of firms involved are suspected of being nothing more than pass through vehicles that are only nominally owned by those who qualify for the program, with the real owners or profitting subcontractors not qualifying and using the facade of diversity to rip off the government.

She said, on that note, “Evidence indicates that the 8(a) Program, initially designed for ‘socially and economically disadvantaged’ businesses, has become a pass-through vehicle for rampant abuse – especially during the Biden Administration, which aggressively prioritized DEI over merit in federal contracting.”

Concluding, the SBA Secretary explained that what is going on is the SBA is finally cracking down on federal contract fraud and will not tolerate being ripped off any longer, a move that could mean better contracting opportunities for MAGA Americans who largely don’t qualify for the diversity programs and that fraud in spending is finally being rooted out. She said, “The SBA is committed to reviewing every federal contract, contracting officer, and contractor – and working alongside law enforcement and other agencies to deliver accountability for taxpayers.”
