Trump Admin Begins to Subpoena, Investigate Leftist Personalities with Ties to Communist Cuba

In some absolutely huge news from those who want to see stronger action out of the Trump Administration on the matter of dealing with foreign subversion and foreign subversives, federal officials have started investigating Marxist streamer and political influencer Hasan Piker and CodePink cofounder Susan Medea Benjaminm subpoenaing them as part of a much larger investigation of who is supporting the communist regime.

Particularly, the allegations regarding both Piker and Benjamin stem from the fact that they travelled to Cuba in March of this year and are accused of having tried to help the communist regime avoid sanctions by helping finance, coordinate, or deliver goods to the regime. Such allegations came because the two travelled to the sanctioned ilsand as part of the “Nuestra América Convoy,” or “Our America Convoy.”

That convoy trafficked supplies to the island for the benefit of the Communist Party of Cuba, which is illegal because of American sanctions on the island. The subpoenas targeting the duo, called “Requests for Information”, were sent by the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Apparently, the subpoenas are likely being used, at least according to Fox News Digital, to determine whether a mere civil case handled by the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control is appropriate here, or if criminal charges under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.

During a livestream in which he addressed the issue of the subpoenas on Sunday afternoon, Piker said, “It’s not great.” He went on to add, “The news is not great, okay? Um, I mean, it’s bullsh*t. But still not great…I mean it’s bullsh*t, but still not great that they’re after your boy. They’re up my as*.”

Continuing, the streamer then went on to insist that the issue here is that he is anti-Israel rather than because he ostentatiously aided the communist regime, saying, “A lot of this, by the way, does still have a lot to do with Israel.” Adding to that, he insisted that what is really going on is that his enemies and critics “don’t like that I talk sh*t about Israel” and “don’t like that I am a loudmouth, a rabble-rouser.”

He further insisted that the big issue here is not his aid of Cuba, which the administration has been pressuring as of late, but that “They recognize that Democrats and young people are against Israel” and see him “campaigning with candidates who are anti-Israel, and they are winning their races.”

Yet further, he insisted during his stream that the issue here is that America is becoming an authoritarian nation, as shown by it not letting him ostentatiously aid the communist regime alongside a collection of other global leftists. He said, “I’m seemingly going to be made an example of…in America’s galloping toward fascism.”

And, in a post on X, the streamer insisted that the Trump Administration is trying to protect Epstein’s friends from punishment, saying, “the American govt would rather try to criminalize delivering aid to a country we’d starved, than punish the Epstein class.”
