In yet more big news showing that the Trump Administration and its somewhat lackluster Department of Justice (DOJ) is finally getting to work and tackling illegal Democratic behavior, it has been revealed that Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) isn’t the only Democrat being targeted and investigated over the “seditious six” video: Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) is being investigated as well.
Such is what the United States Senator revealed to The New York Times, saying that she has been informed by the office of Jeanine Pirro, the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia, that she is being investigated over the video in which she and other Democrats who served in the military or intelligence community told service members to refuse to follow Trump’s “illegal” orders.
For reference, the investigation stems from a November 2025 video where Kelly, Slotkin, and other Democratic lawmakers urged service members to “refuse illegal orders,” which the Trump administration labeled seditious. Predictably, targeted folks like Sen. Kelly have denounced the reprisals and investigation as an abuse of power, with Kelly vowing to continue representing Arizona.
In any case, Slotkin, who has not apologized for the video that the president claims was “seditious”, angrily told the New York Times, “Facts matter little, but the threat matters quite a bit.” The woke and allegedly seditious senator further added, “The threat of legal action; the threat to your family; the threat to your staff; the threat to you.” No other details, other than that the investigation is happening, are known.
That is similar to what Sen. Kelly insisted in his statement after facing a crackdown from the Pentagon. “It wasn’t enough for Pete Hegseth to threaten me with a court martial. Now they are threatening everything I fought and served for across twenty-five years in the U.S. Navy—all because I repeated something every service member is taught,” Sen. Mark Kelly whined.
Concluding his comments, he vowed to “keep doing my job representing Arizona”, and then stated, “If Trump and Hegseth think this will stop me from doing what I’ve done every day of my adult life—fighting for this country—then they’ve got the wrong guy. Tomorrow, and the next day, I will keep doing my job representing Arizona.”
Also included in the “seditious” video were Reps. Jason Crow of Colorado, Chris Deluzio of Pennsylvania, Maggie Goodlander of New Hampshire and Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania. It is unclear whether Pirro and the DOJ will go after them as well, or stick to the two senators for now.

President Trump, however, has indicated that he thinks they should all be locked up. Posting about it on Truth Social, he said, “This is really bad, and Dangerous to our Country. Their words cannot be allowed to stand. SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR FROM TRAITORS!!! LOCK THEM UP???” In another, he wrote, “SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR, punishable by DEATH!”
Further, he said, in still another post on the video, “It’s called SEDITIOUS BEHAVIOR AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL. Each one of these traitors to our Country should be ARRESTED AND PUT ON TRIAL. Their words cannot be allowed to stand – We won’t have a Country anymore!!! An example MUST BE SET. ”
