Reacting to the retirement of controversial Democrat, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), President Trump delivered a devastating retort which sent conservatives into peals of laughter. In the comments, under a clip of his remarks posted to X, many drew attention to her alleged money laundering and other scandals.
In the wake of the announcement, other unpopular Democrats issued maudlin statements praising Pelosi. Former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden, as well as California Governor Gavin Newsom, provided lengthy reactions.
In any case, Trump demolished his longtime political opponent with his typical wit. “I think she’s an evil woman. I’m glad she’s retiring,” he said, “She was a tremendous liability for the country. I thought she was an evil woman who did a poor job — who cost the country a lot in damages and in reputation.”
Under a clip of the incident, which was posted to social media, conservatives agreed with Trump’s assessment. Drawing attention ot her staggering net worth, one user said, “$240,000,000 million made as a “public servant”. What an absolute criminal.” Agreeing, another added, “✅🔥But she did make a ton of money during her tenure unlike the ppl she represented 😕”
Annoyed, another comment pondered why Pelosi is being allowed to just walk away from her career as a congresswoman and alleged daytrader with the gains of that, asking, “She gets to skate off into the sunset with all her gains from insider trading? Maybe crime really does pay.”
Building on this point, another entertaining comment under the post read, “She is definitely evil and needs to be prosecuted for many things, J6 setup, insider trading, and much more. I don’t care that she is 85 do the crime to the time.”

Reacting differently from his successor, former President Obama issued an over-dramatic reaction to Pelosi’s decision to step down. “For almost four decades, Nancy Pelosi has served the American people and worked to make our country better,” Obama claimed.
Still not done flattering the controversial Democrat, he continued, saying, “No one was more skilled at bringing people together and getting legislation passed – and I will always be grateful for her support of the Affordable Care Act. She made us proud to be Democrats, and will go down in history as one of the best speakers the House of Representatives has ever had.”
Likewise, Biden issued a message on her decision to step down. “I often said Nancy Pelosi was the best Speaker of the House in American history – it’s why I awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom,” Biden said.
Reminiscing, he noted, “When I was President, we worked together to grow our economy, create millions of jobs, and make historic investments in our nation’s future. She has devoted much of her life to this country, and America will always be grateful. Jill and I wish Nancy and Paul all the best.”
Gavin Newsom, who some have worried may run for President in 2024, continued the trend. “Nancy Pelosi has inspired generations. Her courage and conviction to San Francisco, California, and our nation has set the standard for what public service should be,” Newsom alleged.”Her impact on this nation is unmatched. Thank you, Madam Speaker. Wishing you the best in this new chapter-you’ve more than earned it.”
