A young woman in Minnesota known for her equestrian skill and budding YouTube channel about horseriding, Sophia Dinverno, has died suddenly at just 23 years of age.
Giving a few details on the young woman’s life and passing, her obituary provides that:
“Dinverno, Sophia Maureen Of Grass Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at the age of 23. She was preceded in death by one brother, Micah Dinverno. She is survived by her parents, Joel and Deanna; sister, Lydia; four brothers, Josiah, Noah, Isaiah, and Elijah; grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins in both Michigan and Minnesota. Sophia attended both Lumen Christi Catholic High School and Jackson Prep and Early College for her high school years.”
Continuing, the obituary goes on to say that “As a sophomore at Lumen Christi, Sophia was a varsity runner for the girls cross country team. She then graduated from Jackson Prep and Early College and continued on in the Jackson College nursing program.”
And, so far as can be discerned from the obituarty, Sophia was a healthy young woman, As it notes:”While growing up, Sophia was involved in many sports and activities. She began taking dance lessons at the Academy of the Arts at the age of four. Sophia was a joy to watch as a member of the Jackson Dance Company performing in yearly recitals and competitions. She also played soccer for AYSO in Grass Lake and ran several community 5K with her family.”
Finally, the obituary discusses her love with horses and the activities she was involved in with that, saying “Sophia had a special love for horses and became an accomplished young horsewoman. She competed in numerous equestrian events throughout Michigan with her beloved horse Lola, aka “Better Than Boys.” When she wasn’t at the barn, she was making videos for her successful YouTube channel, Violet Flowergarden, riding virtual horses in the online game Star Stable.”
Commenting on the obituary, people left messages of love and hope, saying things like:
“Bless this family in their hours of grief… May her journey be peaceful.”
“May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.”
“Sophia is the reason I got sso and she rlly means a lot to me. I wouldn´t have all of my sso friends if it weren´t for her. I started watching her in 2020 and I remember watching all of her training times before my zoom classes. She did so much for the community and it´s really sad she isn´t with us anymore.”
“So sorry for the loss of such a ray of light. My daughter and I have watched [her YouTube channel] since she began and pray for her heartbroken family, siblings, friends and fans.”
“She was a big part of my childhood she made me so happy watching her videos when hearing the news it broke me I hope the best for her family as someone who has lost a sibling the pain is so difficult to deal with. May she rest in peace”
