“There are a Couple of Them I Can’t Stand, Actually”: Trump Trashes RINO Traitor John Thune, Others [WATCH]

Speaking to reporters from the White House’s Oval Office, President Donald Trump sounded off with a vengeance on Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) and other RINOs in the United States Senate who are refusing to do what needs to be done to get the SAVE America Act passed, saying that there are a number of them who he “can’t stand”.

That came when, during the discussion with reporters, the president was asked if his desire to see the filibuster eliminated is coming from a place of disappointment with Speaker Thune. She asked, “Mr. President, you posted a lot about wanting to eliminate the filibuster. It hasn’t happened. Are you disappointed in Leader Thune?”

The president responded by noting that he is very disappointed with Thune and that there are a number of Republican politicians whom he just can’t stand. He said, “I’m disappointed. I like John a lot, but he, you know, he has a couple of Republicans [who are] foolish people. Couple of them . . . I can’t stand actually, if you want to know the truth.”

The president then discussed his popularity within the Republican Party, saying, “Although I do, I am at, according to CNN, 100% approval within the Republican Party. That’s almost that’s better than your record. I’m at 100% approval. Did you see the CNN poll? Nobody talks about CNN. I think the people that did that poll probably got fired. But within the Republican Party in MAGA, which is basically 100% of the party, I think, but 100%.”

Building on that, the president discussed the importance of the SAVE America Act and getting it passed, along with how the filibuster relates. He said, “I think that you’re going to see some very interesting things, the filibuster, if you had it. We should have the SAVE AMERICA Act. We should have voter identification, voter ID. We should have proof of citizenship.”

Further, the president commented on mail-in voting and how big of a problem voter fraud is, saying, “We should have mail in voting for the military and people that need it, but not for everybody, because anytime you have mail in voting, they’re going to cheat, and they cheat like dogs, and they have to cheat.”

And, joking about how the absolutely terrible and very unpopular policies of the Democrats mean they have to cheat to win, the president said, “You know, in all fairness to the Democrats, when you have men and women’s sports, when you have open borders, when you have transgender utilization, don’t listen to this. Kids of your children, of your children, transgender utilization of your children for everyone. When you have policies like that, you have to cheat. It’s the only way they can win.”

Concluding, he added that America should not be allowing them to cheat, whether through mail-in voting or anything else, and that terminating the filibuster is how that can be achieved. He said, “And we shouldn’t allow them to cheat. And we should terminate the filibuster, because if they get the chance, they’ll do it in the first hour back.”
