As President-elect Donald Trump’s signature dance moves continue to be a viral sensation for conservatives nationwide, a flash mob of New Yorkers descended upon Staten Island to partake in a “Trump dance” rally. A massive crowd of supporters gathered together, undeterred by the cold, to express their MAGA spirit to the beat of the “Y.M.C.A.”
The popular conservative X account Johnny MAGA shared the clip with his followers, writing, “Staten Island patriots are gathered at a “Trump dance” rally today.” Given the continual signs of widespread support for Trump in the deep blue state, the post declared, “New York is MAGA country 🔥.” Reacting to the joyous clip, another person said, “The Trump Train 🚂 doesn’t stop.”
One person commented, “Trumping on the town!!! Beautiful!” Another person quipped, “Next stop Los Angeles!” Echoing similar sentiment another Trump supporter wrote, “MAGA patriotism burns bright. 🔥🇺🇸” Sharing their firsthand experience of the event, another woman chimed in, “Yes, awesome… I was here. So good to see all these Trump supporters.”
Another person commented, “It bears repeating; joy is back. Conservatives, patriots of faith, people of good will are rejoicing and being silly – that’s good. When liberals are empowered they wear pink hats representing anatomy and show their perversion; they march around celebrating death, they wear all black and destroy cities, one person said. Pr 29:2 – When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.”
The American Tribune reported on other reactions to the clip of the MAGA New Yorkers congregating for the Trump dance, where many users on X applauded the palpable return of joy and optimism following Trump’s decisive victory last month. Republican Staten Island Borough President Vito Fossella weighed in on the dance, stating, “The dance says you don’t have to take yourself seriously all the time. The dance has taken on a life of itself.” Pointing out how joyous Trump supporters have been since the election, one person wrote, “Soooo cute! MAGA is the real Joy!❤❤”
“Just loving this! People coming together because they voted for President Elect Donald Trump 🇺🇸. It’s a great feeling! You’ll never see this for a Democrat,” another person wrote. Oner user commented, “Our nation is healing ❤️ This is probably the number one thing I was thankful for this Thanksgiving. God has given us an opportunity for peace domestically and in regard to all these foreign wars with the election of Donald J. Trump. He has not forgotten America! 🙏🇺🇸”
