Elon Musk announced yesterday evening in a Tweet that he will soon release documents about the suppression of free speech on Twitter before he took over the company.
Musk has proven to be a thorn in the side of the left-wing media ever since he bought Twitter for 44$ billion, and he is continuing to pull back the curtain on big tech’s censorship.
Musk made this announcement at 4:09 PM yesterday.

The Twitter Files on free speech suppression soon to be published on Twitter itself. The public deserves to know what really happened …
Elon is hellbent on creating a platform that stands as a bastion of free speech and this is what he believes to be a massive step in regaining public trust in Twitter’s algorithms.
Back in April, Musk spoke at a TED conference and made clear his intention for the new direction of Twitter, should he be able to make the purchase.
Well, I think it’s very important for there to be an inclusive arena for free speech. Twitter has become kind of the de facto town square, so it’s just really important that people have the, both the reality and the perception that they are able to speak freely within the bounds of the law.
While he could easily allow people to speak freely online, the second part of that quote is what Musk is after in his latest Tweets.
He somehow must convince a large swathe of right-leaning users that their opinions can safely be voiced on the platform, even after years of bans and restrictions have made them learn otherwise.
He even said as much in a reply last week, in this article.
This is necessary to restore public trust

When a user recommended that Elon release “all internal discussions about the decision to censor the NY Post’s story on Hunter Biden’s laptop before the 2020 election,” Musk had a clear answer.
This is necessary to restore public trust.
To earn the hearts and minds of the public, Musk will have to air out the dirty laundry of Twitter’s previous regime.
Another massive step in the right direction is Twitter granting amnesty to any formerly banned accounts.
Accounts like the Babylon Bee and Former President Donald Trump have been reinstated to the platform after being banned for what the previous owners considered to be dangerous rhetoric or hate speech.
Last night Musk also released this message about the importance of creating a truly free platform for speech and discussion.
This is a battle for the future of civilization. If free speech is lost even in America, tyranny is all that lies ahead.
