“The Disney Tapes”: James O’Keefe Hints at Upcoming Expose of Woke Disney [WATCH]

Taking to X after speaking at the Turning Point USA People’s Conference in Detroit on Sunday, June 16, journalist and expose maestro James O’Keefe, who now runs the O’Keefe Media Group rather than his former Project Veritas organization, teased an upcoming report on Disney. He warned that he has undercover video exposing the Woke Kingdom.

As background, Disney is facing fire from conservatives not only for its spat with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, but for its nasty habit of inserting woke themes and leftist messaging into its content, including children’s shows and content. Many conservatives find that objectionable and see it as Disney attempting to push propaganda on kids.

For example, back in 2022, Latoya Raveneau, an executive producer for Disney who worked on numerous shows for it, was exposed on tape by anti-DEI figure Chris Rufo. In the tape, Raveneau said that Disney is particularly friendly and open-minded toward her LGBTQIA+ agenda, including her efforts to start “adding queerness” to the show she worked on, “The Proud Family.”

She said, “Our leadership over there has been so welcoming to like, my like, not-at-all secret gay agenda.” She continued, “I felt like..maybe it was that way in the past, but I guess, like, something must have happened.”

She then added, “They’re turning it around, and then all that momentum that I felt, that sense of ‘I don’t have to be afraid, let’s have these two characters kiss in the background…wherever I could, I was basically adding queerness to the show, if you see anything queer in the show, ‘The Proud Family,’ nobody would stop me and nobody was trying to stop me.”

With a multitude of stories like that and Disney even removing some of its famous content and rides over allegations of “racism,” along with its continued poor show performance due to recurrent allegations of wokeness, such as with its latest attempt at releasing more Star Wars content, it is no surprise that O’Keefe was able to cook up a report.

Such is what O’Keefe hinted in his speech at the TPUSA event, saying, “The next time someone is stealing, scamming, defrauding, or simply lying, they might be sitting across from someone that works for me.” Continuing, he added, “And stay tuned, because next week, we’re going after Disney.”

He then posted the clip of that speech on X and christened the upcoming expose as “The Disney Tapes.” Such is what he did in the caption of the video post, writing, “The Disney Tapes. 6.20.24. Stay tuned.” Watch him here:

Some former Disney creators have insisted that the content has changed and become much more political. For example, former top Disney creator John Musker said, in an interview, “We weren’t trying to be woke, although I understand the criticism.” He continued, explaining that the message was not put first, saying, “The classic Disney films didn’t start out trying to have a message. They wanted you to get involved in the characters and the story and the world, and I think that’s still the heart of it.”
