Team Trump Trolls “Utter Failure” of Leftist Protests as Military Celebration Turns into Huge Success

One of the lesser-known but hugely important members of the Trump Administration is Steven Cheung, the Assistant to the President & White House Director of Communications. A communications genius, he’s great at firing off epic tweets that take the timeline by storm, as he did once again on Saturday, June 14.

That Saturday was not only President Trump’s birthday, but also the day that the United States Army was celebrating its 250th birthday with a massive parade in downtown DC, a parade that featured soldiers dressed in the uniforms of different eras and some of America’s very cool military equipment, such as M1 Abrams main battle tanks. Saturday was also the day of the “No Kings” protests across America, which were seemingly meant to intimidate Trump and Republicans into halting the ICE raids on illegal aliens.

Fortunately for President Trump and his allies, those protests were a massive flop, with not even much notoriety coming out of them, while the military parade in DC was a massive success that generally looked like and was viewed as a fun event that displayed our military power and equipment to ordinary Americans.

Cheung used the twin facts that the parade was a huge success and the protests were a huge flop to humiliate the leftists and point out Trump’s relative popularity, contrasting the fun Army birthday celebration with the sparsely attended, depressing “No Kings” protest events.

Beginning the highly entertaining post, Cheung sounded much like President Trump as he mocked the “minuscule” number of attendees garneed by most of those protests, characterizing them as major failures. He said, “The so-called No Kings protests have been a complete and utter failure with minuscule attendance.”

Continuing, Cheung slammed the Democrats for seemingly preferring illegal aliens to military veterans, noting that they decided to take the side of illegals targeted by ICE rather than the Army. He said, “It is sad Democrats and liberals would rather support criminals and illegals instead of celebrating the 250th anniversary of our great U.S. Army and Flag Day.”

Concluding, Cheung contrasted that failure of the protests with the feelings of ordinary Americans, who generally seemed to have gotten on board with the DC Army parade. He said, “But many more Americans are commemorating our brave military men and women who have given the ultimate sacrifice and who those continue to serve our country.”

In another post on the subject, Cheung highlighted the great success of the event at drawing in Americans who wanted to celebrate the US Army, writing, “Amazing. Despite the threat of rain, over 250,000 patriots showed up to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the @USArmy. God Bless the USA!”

Cheung has been taking Democrats to task on X as of late. For example, in another very entertaining post on X, he slammed far-left Rep. Eric Swalwell, saying, “Eric Swallows is taking orders from Fang Fang and spewing lies because he’s an absolute joke of a person who is unserious about his job. These are the rantings of either a madman or a puppet.”
