Suspected California Serial Killer Revealed to Be Illegal Immigrant from El Salvador

A man was arrested in California late last week in connection with a string of murderers. But, the suspected serial killer is no American from California. Rather, the suspected serial killer, Carlos Dominguez, is an illegal immigrant from El Salvador. He came to the United States as an unaccompanied minor during the Obama Administration.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has filed a detainer request for Dominguez, who is 21 years old and arrived in the United States in 2009, coming through Galveston, TX. ABC 10, reporting on the situation, notes that the detainer means Dominguez will be detained by ICE if local law enforcement authorities release him.

Dominguez, a former University of California Davis student, is accused of stabbing three people. Two of the victims were stabbed to death and the remaining victim is recovering from the attack in the hospital. Each of the stabbings was a separate incident, occurring from April 27 to May 1 of this year, 2023.

Those killed were David Breaux and Karim Abou Najm. The third, surviving victim is Kimberlee Guillory. Still in the hospital, she said, “I’m grateful that I’m alive and that I wasn’t killed. I was so scared when he started punching me. I thought that’s what he was doing, was punching me. I didn’t realize he was stabbing me until afterwards. Everything just went kind of black from there.”

Continuing, she then said, “I’m glad that they got him. I was praying for that, that nobody else will have to go through this. Me and the other two victims never did anything to him. There was no reason for him to come after people that that he didn’t even know.”

The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dominguez and he is now being held in the Yolo County jail.

Davis separated from UC Davis “for academic reasons” on April 25, two days before the string of stabbings began. Predictably, the woke school defended the alleged serial killer and illegal immigrant, saying (emphasis ours):

UC Davis learned that the city of Davis police, UC Davis police and the FBI have identified and arrested a suspect in all three stabbing incidents. The person has been identified as Carlos Reales Dominguez. Reales Dominguez was in his third year at UC Davis until April 25, 2023, when he was separated for academic reasons.

We are partnering with law enforcement to provide access to any and all information as part of the investigation. We are providing support to faculty, staff and students who may have interacted with him. As we learn more and are able to provide updates that do not interfere with the ongoing investigation, we will do so.

We urge the community not to rush to conclusions or speculate until all facts are known. We are grateful for law enforcement’s quick response and resolution during an extremely difficult period for the city and campus.

The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office posted a public safety advisory on Facebook before the arrest of Dominguez occurred, saying:

Regional law enforcement agencies have been assisting, along with the FBI and Department of Justice. Police officers are on rotating 12 hour shifts and patrols have been added all over town. Police and investigators are working on three crime scenes, collecting evidence, gathering statements and going through tips. A sketch is currently in the works and will be distributed as soon as it is ready.
In addition, City staff are working with local providers to secure available shelter options to ensure the safety of our unsheltered community members.
    PERSONAL SAFETY TIPS:
    1. Avoid traveling alone after dark if possible.
    2. Avoid dark areas, stay in well-lit areas as much as possible.
    3. Look around you as you walk and always be alert of your surroundings.
    4. Avoid people and situations that make you nervous.
    5. Travel in groups or consider a buddy system.
    6. Consider carrying something that makes a loud noise like a whistle.
    7. If you are getting off of work, ask another coworker or two to walk out with you.
    8. Let someone know where you are going and when you’ll be back. Call if you’re going to be late.
    9. Stay near people. Walking in deserted areas invites trouble. Avoid shortcuts.
    10. Report suspicious behavior, if you feel in danger call 9-1-1.
    LATEST DESCRIPTION OF SUSPECT:
In addition, here is the latest description of the suspect: The suspect was described as male with a light complexion, with curly hair, 5’6”-5’9” tall, and thin build. He was last seen wearing: a dark hoodie, black “adidas” style pants with a white stripe, black shoes and a brown backpack.
