During his recent episode with comedian Theo Vonn, podcast host and comedian Joe Rogan, far from being on the radical right himself, tore into Target for its “tuck-friendly” swimsuit, among other things, while he and Vonn discussed politics and how they relate to companies.
Vonn introduced the topic by saying he wants there to be an app that shows you what political causes each company donated to so that it affects their bottom line and discerning customers can avoid companies that don’t share their values. “I wish there was an app where when you went to a business, you could tell where they put their political money, right? So then it would start to affect the bottom lines of companies. So then those companies would stop,” Vonn said.
Rogan then noted that the first baby steps toward something like that happening are going on with Target right now, as it lost billions upon billions of dollars in stock market value thanks to its woke apparel being the last step too far for customers. “A little of that’s going on right now with all the woke shit. Like Target lost billions of dollars because they tried to have this pride selection,” Rogan said.
Vonn, a comedian, joked that Target had “Gay mannequins,” and then Rogan corrected him, saying, “Well they had all these like pride children’s shirts.”
Then Rogan turned from Target to Bud Light, noting that it has also suffered severe financial consequences thanks to its wokeness, losing tens of billions of dollars in market cap thanks to the Mulvaney disaster. “They’ve lost 20 plus billion dollars. You imagine — you just gonna send a fucking can to some confused person that — ‘Day 365 of womanhood,’” Rogan said, mimicking Dylan Mulvaney when referencing the “day X of womanhood” shtick.
Rogan then noted how wild it was that Bud Light and its parent company lost so much money for the Mulvaney can that caused a consumer freak out, saying, “And you send that person a fucking can with their face on it and your company loses $20 billion dollars. That is wild shit, man.”
That’s when Target and the now-infamous swimsuit entered the discussion, with Rogan telling Vonn that the last thing he wants to see when shopping at Target, presumably with his kids, is a swimsuit explicitly marketed as being designed to help hide male genitalia in a female swimsuit design. Doing his usual sort of funny, angry rant, Rogan said, “So we’re seeing that now. But we never saw that before where people are going ‘Enough. Enough. Stop shoving this down everybody’s throat.’ When I go to Target, I don’t wanna see like fucking tuck pants. They’re designed to help you tuck your dick. Like, hey, that’s not normal and I don’t want that right in front of everybody.”
Joe Rogan SHREDS @Target and @budlight for force-feeding Americans WOKE agenda.
