Rachel Zegler, star of Disney’s new live-action adaptation of “Snow White and the Seven Dwarves,” has made waves with her interviews in which she bashes the original story and film. Now, yet another video has emerged of the rising-star actress talking about all the ways that she says the Snow White story needed to be changed to fit the modern woke times.
From the X (Twitter) account End Wokeness, a video surfaced over the weekend of Zegler bashing the Snow White story. She began by saying, “I mean, you know, the original cartoon came out in 1937 and very evidently so. There’s a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird! Weird. So we didn’t do that this time.”
Next, she explained the relationship between Snow White and the Prince, who traditionally fell in love in the telling of the story, would no longer be a traditional love story. “We have a different approach to, what I’m sure a lot of people will assume is a love story, just because we cast a guy in the movie, Andrew Burnap, great dude.”
Continuing, she bashed people for even the mere assumption that the two characters are in love. “It’s one of those things that I think everyone’s going to have their assumptions about what it’s going to be, but it’s really not about the love story at all, which is really, really wonderful.”
It just gets worse and worse….

This interview marks yet another instance in the long saga of Disney bastardizing the “Snow White” film. The company was once again so caught up in trying to meet diversity quotas in their casting decisions that they hilariously managed to hire an actress that hates the story of the movie she stars in.
End Wokeness dubbed this hire a “walking PR disaster for Disney.” They wrote, “The new Snow White says that the Prince was a creepy stalker and suggests that all scenes of the Prince could be cut.”
Some of the commenters on the Tweet have a better grasp on the severity of the situation than Disney execs who continue to let Zegler give interviews. One said, “Why does Disney even let her talk about the movie? She is talking them into a financial disaster.”
Another user echoed the sentiment, saying, “The original film made Disney what it ultimately became in it’s golden years. This remake will end Disney in the last of its dying years.”
This is yet another example in the long line of Disney’s tragic turn to wokeness, which will undoubtedly see more and more of their most beloved movies turned woke. Similar to the “Little Mermaid,” “Snow White” is now a movie that is marred in political controversy, with half of the nation disgusted with the film before it is even released.
