Spencer Pratt Exposes Karen Bass’s Connection to, Training With Communist Cuba

In a real jaw-dropper of a post on X, Los Angeles Mayoral Candidate Spencer Pratt pulled no punches in calling out current Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for her deep and long-term connection to the communist regime in Castro’s Cuba, noting that she even traveled to the communist island to train with the communists in her youth.

As background, Pratt and Bass are the two leading candidates for the Los Angeles Mayoral position, and their political fight has gotten increasingly knock-down and drag-out as Pratt has risen in the polls and made it increasingly look like he could actually win the election and depose the Democrat for the first time in many, many years.

So, upping the ante in a recent post on X, Pratt dredged up an old article from the Los Angeles Times that had exposed Bass’s connection to Cuban communists and alleged that she had travelled to the communist island to learn guerrilla warfare as part of the radical leftist movements of the 1970s.

Beginning, the section of the article that he highlighted claimed, “In those documents, intelligence officers accused one plaintiff of making death threats against police officers, accused another of fostering racial strife and contended that a third plaintiff traveled to Cuba to learn guerrilla warfare.”

Continuing, the section in the Los Angeles Times report claimed, “Plaintiff Karen Bass, according to a 1973 intelligence document provided to The Times, ‘traveled tore Cuba with the 6th Contingent of the Venceremos Brigade. The brigade trains revolutionary-prone Americans in terrorist tactics and guerrilla warfare while claiming to harvest sugar cane.'”

The section then noted that Bass was actually a leader in the radical communist group and brought communist propaganda back to the US. It said, “Bass, characterized as a brigade leader, ‘returned from Cuba to the U.S.A. bringing back propaganda literature,’ the document noted without citing the source of this information.”

Pratt characterized. the information by noting just how radical that exposed Karen Bass to be, saying, “When I was in my 20’s I was on a TV show. When Karen Bass was in her 20’s, she was training in terrorist tactics and guerrilla warfare with communists in Cuba. Back when the LA Times was still in LA, and used to tell the truth…”

Commenters on his post sounded off on Bass. One such poster found a similar article in the Washington Post and wrote, “Even the Washington Post considered her involvement with Venceremos disqualifying in 2020: ‘…Castro’s evil was always well known to the outside world. Yet she chose to aid a regime whose declared goal was victory over her own country.’”

Other commenters left messages like “It’s pretty insane that a trained communist guerrilla managed to become mayor of a major US city”, “Elect Marxist, get Marxist outcomes. Never once in all of history have they succeeded”, and “We should ask ourselves how people like Karen Bass are able to rise to power within the Democrat Party and local politics? It’s almost like the Democrat Party IS a Communist Party trying to destroy America from within.”
